I recently became a huge fan of Super Mario Party Jamboree, and I was wondering if you have played the game, what's your favorite mode? For me, it's a tie between Party Planner Trek and Rhythm Kitchen mode. Btw, I'm just referring to the base game, not the Switch 2 edition + Jamboree TV.
Secret, if you collect 9999 star bits in Super Mario Galaxy, the coconuts in the beach themed galaxies will turn into watermelons. It's completely useless and purely aesthetic but still a fun little surprise.
It's weird that Wii Play is so wildly different in Japan than in Western regions. I mean, if I'm being honest, I like the Western versions better for the cover art and stuff.
It's been awhile since I used this thread but I just realized that one of the most obscure "Mario" games is Wario's Woods. This NES game's theming is weird enough, but the two playable Toads were actually fully voice acted despite the limited hardware. The funny thing is that no one knows who...
Princess Daisy is probably the character with the most fan mockups for power ups in mainline games, but after Wonder, she'll probably be playable in a mainline title again.
Honestly, it doesn't seem like an error. When I think of a launch title, I usually just think of a game released in the first year of the console's lifetime. For example, I consider Super Mario Odyssey a Nintendo Switch launch title even though it was released several months after the Switch's...
How about a Mario and Kirby crossover? They crossed over Mario and Sonic as well as Mario and Rabbids. This wouldn't be too big a stretch. Besides, I feel Mario and Kirby could possibly take place in the same universe due to their similar art styles.
Super Mario Party Jamboree! I beat both Goomba Lagoon and Mega Wiggler's Tree Party in story mode. Honestly, I didn't feel this way initially, but I like Jamboree better than Superstars.
A useless fact, but not really a secret, is that Frog Mario and Link in SMM2 are colored red in multiplayer rather than green like in single player to differentiate from Luigi. As for me, though, it's green regardless since I play as Luigi all the time.
The Koopalings are really underrated. A lot of people on Youtube say that they don't like them, but I think they're great since they each have their own personalities and stuff. What I would love to see is them make appearances as additional bosses in 3d games along with original bosses, as well...
People keep talking about a new 3D Mario game coming out for the Switch 2 this year. I mean, it would be perfect timing since it is Mario's 40th anniversary. However, a few things holding that back are the fact that the Super Mario Galaxy Movie is coming out this year, and pretty much everything...
Here is part 2 of Detective Luigi!
Narrator: The first step in Luigi’s investigation was to review that video caught on the security footage. The only way to do that was to ask King Bob-omb if they could. Toadette initially didn’t think he’d let them, but to her surprise he did. Luigi loaded it...
I didn't like Sonic Racing Crossworlds that much and I don't really play racing games other than Mario Kart, but when I was younger I liked Cars: Race O Rama on the Wii. I guess otherwise you could count the racing minigames in Madagascar 2 Escape Africa on the Wii too. I mean, it's not karts...
Shortcat said that in one of his videos that a lot of people hate Dolphin Shoals; I'm literally the opposite lol. That is one of my top 10 favorite tracks in the game!
Wasn't there a weird Game and Watch game where Mario has Donkey Kong perform in a circus or something? I haven't seen a lot of people talk about that one. I commend you for chatting about the Game and Watch since most people don't talk about them. I mean, technically speaking, the Game and Watch...
I am trying to 100% complete New Super Luigi U. Honestly, unlike a lot of people, I actually prefer Luigi's physics, that being his higher jump and lower traction. It certainly makes the boss fights (at least Lemmy's for now) a lot easier to do damageless. I'm honestly more used to his physics...
Gonna do a blind first playthrough of Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe this week. It seems fun! My only knowledge of the game is that is a remake of a Wii title ported to Switch.
I'm glad Nintendo went back to their 3DS and Wii U era style of creativity. They seem less afraid to try new and unexpected things with the Mario franchise. To me, I'd say a good example is Super Mario Party Jamboree. It's a great game on many levels! They added new modes, new mechanics, new...
Yep, I'm working on fanfiction starring Luigi through adventures both within and outside of the Mushroom Kingdom. I'll be posting some of these stories here. Additionally, if you want to suggest ideas, feel free to do so. However, rules for idea suggestions are that it must be kept family...
I don't think I'd like to see fall damage return...
It's annoying when you're going against King Bob-omb and he throws you off the mountain...
Btw, I never beat Mario 64 but I'm thinking about actually doing so.
And maybe Luigi could really exist in a Mario 64 style game for once!
Here's some unofficial 3d printed Mario rubber ducks off eBay. I'm sorta shocked these aren't in the play till you win claw machine if you've seen those:
