I hope that in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, they arrange a version of "Enter Bowser Jr!" from the first game for the movie's soundtrack! It would be a missed opportunity if they didn't!
"Not sure if you know who I am, but I'm about to...rule the world!" - Bowser, the Super Mario Bros Movie (2023 version). That is honestly one of my favorite quotes from Bowser like ever!
The weird console revisions like the N64DD and the SNES's Satellaview really weren't necessary. I think the Wii's Family Edition revision removing GameCube actually worked because GameCube games were no longer being sold. And Switch Lite also made sense since they are people who aren't home often enough to play in TV mode.
Nintendo is going to bring obscure games like Mario Pinball Land and Yoshi Topsy Turvy to the Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Classics if they've brought Mario and Wario to SNES.
I wonder if we'll get a true new entry to the Paper Mario series. The most recent brand new one (excluding the TTYD remake) was Origami King back in 2020. I think we'll get one next year since we're coming up on a six year drought for them.
Dry Bowser would make more sense as a clone of Bowser created by one of the Koopalings, either Ludwig von Koopa or Iggy Koopa due to their high intelligence and interest in inventing. That could explain why both Bowser and Dry Bowser are playable in spinoffs like Mario Kart or Mario Tennis.
The Double Cherry was originally a glitch in Super Mario 3D World, but the developers liked it enough to make it a real powerup. Imagine seeing double cherries in a future Mario movie? How would Mario and Luigi react to using them for the first time?
Honestly, if Nintendo's bringing Virtual Boy games to Nintendo Classics, I'm not shocked if they bring Philips CD-I to it as well, and that means the return of Hotel Mario. But seriously, Hotel Mario's so not funny it's almost kind of funny.
"Now that's a happy ending. Or is it? Because everything's over now, and all that's left is you and the infinite void...Kinda makes you wanna play saxophone, huh?" - Lumalee, the Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023 version). Me: the way his expression changes from dark to light is hilarious
