Well, at the end of the day, opinions are just that, opinions. You're not right or wrong for having them, it's just how you feel. Not everyone is going to agree on everything and that's okay, it's what makes humans interesting after all. The most important thing is to remember to always be civil with people who disagree with you, even if they don't reciprocate. If you really want to, you could even try to engage in a dialogue with them and try to understand why they have that opinion even if you don't personally agree.
Aha!
I see!
I'll keep this as a folder on my laptop when I need it.
But, one more thing.
What should I do if the person's opinion is not good?
E.G. A person saying " I like committing hate crimes. "
At that point I personally think you're leaving the realm of opinions and entering into morality. If you meet someone like that, there's clearly something wrong with them. I wouldn't suggest engaging with them as they're probably stuck in that mindset anyway. Thankfully I haven't really dealt with people like that though, someone else will probably be able to explain it better.
but in all seriousness, honestly? it doesn't personally affect my life if you happen to like yoshi as a character. even if you happen to be "wrong", so what?
the example you used is very extreme though. i say some opinions such as being a global warming denier and being an anti-vaxxer is overall bad for humanity because it's anti-science.
