i feel that too, i used to be a lot more active myself and i kept thinking maybe it was just me but i think you are right and that people are getting less active which means other regular users get less active cause there's less activity to react to and it continues in a cycle but i'm here for whenever you wanna chat

I was heavily active on other boards, but it's all starting to die down now. I've seen the site go 3 hours without posts, and I'm also concerned that we were more active in the smf era.

As a person from 2010: The activity has been on a very steady decline for a while. That "used to be" wasn't as active as, say, during the 2010-2015 days. Mindless Junk's "If you click here" thread used to get many many posts nearly daily.

If I was here in 2016, I'd have way more posts.

IDK there wasn't roleplay at the time either.
