IKR? While I didn't interact with her (or so I think), I could notice that she was open about her depression and that more often than not she would try to seek help here. Apparently that counted as "toxic behaviour" in the ban log...

she was extremely self-destructive and accusatory despite people's attempts to help so the thought process was to ban her for both her betterment and ours (i.e., getting her out of an environment that was toxic to her). to my knowledge she is at least doing better elsewhere now.

If THAT's the reason she was banned, and if she's doing better, why don't we just unban her?

From experience, it's not that simple, a environment can remind someone of the bad times and they slip into it again

Once again, it's from experience, simply lurking on a place where a lot of bad stuff happened brought me into a bad depression instantly

That's actually a good thing, it is better to gain knowledge of bad things by being told it opposed to experiencing it, I would trade all the experience I have for none of those bad times to happen

Her posts were relatable to me, having myself been in extremely low lows in the past with this site being one of my only sources of esteem. The reason for her ban seemed ridiculous at the time, but now that I have the bigger picture, I can only nod in agreement. Happy to hear she is fine.
