Holy shit, no really? Sonic Adventure DX in a Russian version? I can't believe they went all way to do this, lmao!

For the voice acting, they don't really try at all: I mean it's likely be done by one person all of this to be fair but seriously, it sounds so...dumb.

Also, I took a look at their names. Why the hell is Sonic called Хвостик? Shouldn't he be called Соник? Hell, I see his name below that's translated correct even, so how did they mess that up? Why is his name shared with Tails? Knuckles's name also looks very strange but I can't read it all that well, the name doesn't contrast at all. Amy Rose's name was backwards (Rosa Amy in the text below).

A YouTube comment sums it all up. Commenters in general are saying how hilariously unmatched and bad the subtitles are too. I don't get it but I'm willing to bet Zelen will.

(I watched the video again and YES the voice doesn't even match what I read onscreen, and this is coming from someone who barely knows any Russian, how did they fuck it up THAT badly where even an utter novice like me can spot the mistakes!?)

Well, the translation is much more hilarious. First of all, every single name is translated, mostly strange and unfitting the character.
Tails — A Tail (?)
Sonic — A Tail (??)
Knuckles — A Bone (???)
Big the Cat — A Big Cat (????)
The voice is almost always different than subtitles. Sometimes there's something added, that changes the whole thing, sometimes there's something deleted. E and Z (russian 'Э' and 'З') use the same letter because of looking familiar.

Now just some examples of translation issues:
Original — What's up? (meaning What's happening?)
Voice — What's the point?
Subtitles — How are you?

But you know, more games need to be localized in Russian in general. Still waiting on Rib Van Ryb to be an official Russian name for the sleeping fish guy from Super Mario World.

Another comment...the subtitles said, "Privyet bratello" which means..."hello brother"?? but the "voice actor" said "Davaiy", which means, "Come on"?

Again, I'm an utter utter utter novice at Russian with no formal school training at all with this and even I can spot the mistakes. This is so terrible.
