Yes. People need to express their own opinions without making it look like they're backed up. You don't like something, that's alright, but you don't have to start assuming what other people think to make yourself sound more powerful in your arguments. "Nobody likes" and the like are such a shitty and sometimes plain disrespectful argument especially to the people who disagree with you.

We are 8 billion on this Earth. You don't speak for everyone, just learn how to actually debate for yourself.
