  • The Koopalings should have been playable in Mario Kart World ☹️

Seeing as how half-assed Nintendo was with their handling of Mario Strikers: Battle League, you can bet your Ultra Boots that they were gonna be this cheapskate-like with Mario Kart World. ☹️
I hope that in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, they arrange a version of "Enter Bowser Jr!" from the first game for the movie's soundtrack! It would be a missed opportunity if they didn't!
Weird question. What were the Koopa Kids from Mario Party's true relation to Bowser?
    ClawgripFan9001
    ClawgripFan9001
My guess is they're merely just minions that Bowser modeled after himself in his own image. Just like the Moblin from the Legend of Zelda series, only the Koopa Kids/Mini Bowsers are semi-major characters specifically created for the earlier Mario Party games before deciding it made more sense to include Bowser Junior starting with Mario Party DS(?).
"Not sure if you know who I am, but I'm about to...rule the world!" - Bowser, the Super Mario Bros Movie (2023 version). That is honestly one of my favorite quotes from Bowser like ever!
It's official: Shigeru Miyamoto is stepping back. Thank you for creating my all time favorite entertainment franchise! ☺️

Really? The wiki doesn't say this at all. If this is true, then I'm going to cry a little while I play Mario Party Jamboree today.

The video mentioned an interview with Miyamoto tho and I think it was real. To be honest tho, he wasn't involved that much anymore anyway. He's just been the "Creative Fellow" for a number of years now.
The weird console revisions like the N64DD and the SNES's Satellaview really weren't necessary. I think the Wii's Family Edition revision removing GameCube actually worked because GameCube games were no longer being sold. And Switch Lite also made sense since they are people who aren't home often enough to play in TV mode.

I actually never play my regular Switch 1 in TV mode, and always play it on handheld mode. And as such, I can play it on the go just fine. The loading station is just as relatively easy for me to bring wherever I go as well. Having access to electrical outlets to charge it in is another story, but that's not too big of a problem.

I honestly play more in TV mode than handheld mode but I do use handheld mode while I'm in the car
Nintendo is going to bring obscure games like Mario Pinball Land and Yoshi Topsy Turvy to the Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Classics if they've brought Mario and Wario to SNES.
I wonder if we'll get a true new entry to the Paper Mario series. The most recent brand new one (excluding the TTYD remake) was Origami King back in 2020. I think we'll get one next year since we're coming up on a six year drought for them.

They've been consistent with a new title for each home console so I wouldn't be surprised if there's one on the Switch 2 at some point.

With how the remake went, I'm expecting a game similar in style to The Thousand Year Door but with some new mechanics like multiplayer

second one is the one I have, I'd say San-ei (the sitting one) is better, I've had it for like 12 years, and it is still alive.
Dry Bowser would make more sense as a clone of Bowser created by one of the Koopalings, either Ludwig von Koopa or Iggy Koopa due to their high intelligence and interest in inventing. That could explain why both Bowser and Dry Bowser are playable in spinoffs like Mario Kart or Mario Tennis.

I prefer to think that Dry Bowser is Bowser's unrelenting soul remaining in his body just to kill mario, and also why would they create a clone that is just a pile of bone?

Idk, the Dry bones need a leader lol?

I just asked my irl friend about her thoughts on it and she says the game is fun and all, and that's about it. She does say it's one of her fav storylines tho.

That's nice. Yeah, that's a fair asessment of Colors. It's one of the more okay-ish Sonic games out there, for sure.
Which powerup would you rather see return from the Gameboy games: Superball flower or Carrot (idk the actual name lol)?

The carrot because that one sounds more interesting than a superball

I agree I'd rather see the carrot return, but I sort of meant superball flower in a modern game outside of SMM2.
The Double Cherry was originally a glitch in Super Mario 3D World, but the developers liked it enough to make it a real powerup. Imagine seeing double cherries in a future Mario movie? How would Mario and Luigi react to using them for the first time?

    Salmancer
Its impossible to determine, given that the film was rarely about interacting with power-ups in static environment. There was always a situation around using the power-up, like beating the training course, a campfire scene, battling Donkey Kong, and crashing the wedding. So without a scenario there's no way to predict it.

To attempt to answer the question: The Double Cherry lends itself more to something comedic than serious, so I would expect a low stakes scene that would give the characters ample time to be confused by the clone. Or maybe more than one clone, depending on how silly the film wants to be. There might be a time period where they aren't sure that there is a clone to begin with. Maybe Mario would use a clone to give Luigi a light scare.
Honestly, if Nintendo's bringing Virtual Boy games to Nintendo Classics, I'm not shocked if they bring Philips CD-I to it as well, and that means the return of Hotel Mario. But seriously, Hotel Mario's so not funny it's almost kind of funny.

Honestly, a game where you run a hotel in the mario universe kinda sounds like a fun idea, in my opinion.

    ClawgripFan9001
@BigBoom1946 Yeah, a hotel tycoon game in Mario style would be fun, for sure. Though knowing Nintendo and the mistakes they made with letting Philips handle Mario and Zelda on their CD-i console and the Hotel Mario game we got as a result, I doubt we'd be getting a hotel tycoon Mario game anytime soon.
"Now that's a happy ending. Or is it? Because everything's over now, and all that's left is you and the infinite void...Kinda makes you wanna play saxophone, huh?" - Lumalee, the Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023 version). Me: the way his expression changes from dark to light is hilarious 😆
