Saying that you think something is ok isn't tearing someone down. You should be allowed to express opinion without going on a long prose. While it is true that it is preferable to give constructive criticism, by, as you said, suggesting on how something can be improved and why, just because someone just said they that your section was ok doesn't mean they're tearing you down. Please accept the fact that not everyone will love your section.

I never thought for a second everyone was going to be like, "OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!!"

Ok, I apologize for being too strict about what goes on my page. I now see I went a bit overboard as to what should go on the Mario Boards. Are we all good now?
