    just human geography, i also ironically got an F in drawing but I guess I don't have to do those assignments?

    but also for human geo, I have an assignment that's 98% done and one that's already done so I think I'll be done on day one

    My guess is that new users happen to befriend other new users!

    You all have similar experiences with being new to the community, and so you're in the same boat. Every one of you are eager and willing to participate!

    You, Boo1268 and DryBonesBandit are the perfect examples! It's natural for newbies to become good friends with other newbies.

    Sparks is onto something. Activity begets activity. When there are a lot of ongoings - especially in more public-facing spaces like the forum itself or in the paper - it tends to draw more new users in and keep them around.

    An active crew of folks talking to each other and collaborating is appealing to see - folks want to join in on the fun!

    You can change it by going to the account details page and setting a custom title.
