Believe it or not, it was 6.5 hours earlier today. People are willing to wait insane amounts of time to ride this thing. That includes my siblings, apparently (I'd just come back another day if it was my decision).
All of this makes you ask...is it really worth it?
It's one of the main reasons I'm not a huge fan of theme parks. It always takes an insane amount of time to ride on anything and by the time you get to it, it's just...over, like that.
Yeah, you basically pay just to wait in line. I don't think anyone in my family love theme parks anyhow. We probably prefer stuff like museums, historical sites, and natural reserves. The only reason I even agree to go to theme parks is purely to socialize with my friends.
I also remember the time where I was in a band and we got to go to Disneyland. My sister and I were miserable, and it was the one day in SoCal that it decided to rain there.
I mean, for someone who likes theme parks, they can call me lucky to live extremely close to both Universal, Disneyland, and Legoland, but me, I'm like...eh, I'd rather just go to Yosemite or Joshua Park instead.
Just about reached the 2-hour mark here. According to an article I read, we're pretty near the end of the line, so the 240-minute wait time estimate was probably a gross overestimate meant to draw away visitors (because 2 hours is still an insane amount of line time).
At any rate, I'll let y'all know when I get off the ride.
