Why?

I hate dst's daylight hours and "spring forward" is a terrible practice. fall back is fine. it should stay standard time.

It's even stupider too because there's already precedent for states to stay in their own standard time year round, but instead of just doing that and having it be done, they're trying to have permanent daylight savings time (at least up here). Now to be fair, I just want to stop switching the clocks and not really have a preference which one but it feels like it's been stuck in limbo forever despite everyone pretty much agreeing it should be abolished.
