What a terrible disappointment... To lose an admirable and powerful individual is disgraceful! I ought to exercise caution and reassess my strategy. I must say right now, that I am certain that one of our evildoers must have joined the votes against Mr. Shmilbert...
In any event, I will reflect upon this misguided fate by brewing a nice cup of tea. My soul is in distress as you may understand.
(Please can you at least confirm you targeted FWD on night 2?)View attachment 67900
"You better be right for your own sake, my friend. For I'll be keeping my vote on you for the time being until the crimson echidna (Yoshi the SSM) comes along and explains his reasoning for hopping on the bandwagon that led to my lynching during the previous day."
(Yes, I did target FWD that night, on account of wanting to make sure they weren't bluffing about being the Miller, even if my power wasn't exactly helpful in trying to discover that.)(Please can you at least confirm you targeted FWD on night 2?)
So, what did I find last night, now it's all out on the table? Much like the Roserade, I thought that the Event Gulpin was in trouble, so I went to see who targeted them. And you know who showed up? Absolutely no one! And I don't like that all. I feel like with all the people who've gone down, they might pretending to be helpful to build up trust and lead us astray, so I'm going to Vote: Ninja Squid, at least for now. I believe that the Roserade could be our vigilante, and of course we know Shmilbert's role, so that does help thin the pool a bit. I'm still not a fan of the Hariyama though, so if the Event Gulpin puts up a great defense, that's definitely where I'm looking next.
While this is already some good deductive argument on its own, with the added hindsight of WT being alignment cop, it's possible that he knew more about Cloudwalker's innocence than he let on publicly. All of this adds up to me to say that in the NS is Mafia world, Cloudwalker feels innocent to meTo then immediately eliminate one of the two after Solarus' deception was revealed almost feels as if the corruption is trying to gain whatever advantage they can out of a poor situation and direct our attention somewhere very specific. What was he calling himself again? Sonic? Ditto? Perhaps worth keeping an eye on, but I don't think he's who we should be trying to uproot.
I was really confused on why PF would say this if he thought it was true. What good would calling out a potential innocent cop be for town? It almost sounded like he was baiting NS to get targeted by the Mafia, which wouldn't make sense to do if he was Mafia. But then I thought about the possibility of this being bait for the doctor instead. If NS and PF are both Mafia, this could've been PF attempting to get the doctor to waste night protection on a scumbuddy instead of someone who actually needed itView attachment 67836
I still do not have any leads to go off, other than NS could very well be the innocent cop as he was the one leading the charge against Solarus.

-said before we learn he was a Mafia member with a disguised role upon death
night 1 I tried to find out who targeted Xiahoa Ba and their Sandslash, and it was the Johtonian Cranidos who fainted the same night... but I do know that their targeting was a success, so hopefully the Sandslash can confirm they received a message on night 1?
Another massive wall of text incoming
I believe BBQ's claim. I can't imagine a world where Mafia has a watcher on their side, and we now have confirmation from our host-confirmed innocent doctor that the watcher's info is correct. Anyone who attempts to push a world where she's evil is getting my vote today
For what it's worth, I don't think it's horrifically unusual for NS to not have been visited last night. We've already knocked off the roleblocker, so nobody would target NS for that. WT's death implies to me that they have a role cop (or other investigation role), so if NS is an innocent and was never visited, this means that the role cop probably visited him on an earlier night. And of course, the last scenario would be if NS was the target of a nightkill, which didn't happen here. I think it's possible that the Mafia already received info about NS early and are holding off on killing him for one reason or another
With that said... my head is floating between two worlds right now. There is a feasible world where NS is Mafia, and it becomes more feasible the more our numbers dwindle. Here's how we could conceptualize it:
-NS votes No Elimination on day 1 in a bid to look better, and gets defensive when I call it out as a potential strategy because he himself is evil
-NS votes Boo on day 2 to appear more innocent later, because why would a Mafia vote for their own so early on? But then, NS gets into a bit of a bind when Coco votes for Boo. The entire scenario he described on day 3, about how the Mafia couldn't make any big vote switches without drawing considerable dire - that's exactly what happens to him, and he can't do anything to save Boo. So instead, he takes the opportunity to set himself long-term with town's good graces
-Coco dies night 2 because NS, despite being a powerful social player, cannot die at night on account of being part of the Mafia
-His improvised plan works a charm. The next day, he decides to flip things around on his opinion of me and say that he thinks I'm innocent, perhaps in an effort to hitch onto a vocal innocent player
-Day 3, he's able to effectively lead a day elimination against the doctor by utilizing those gathered good graces
Now, to be clear, everything I just said could be wrong. Clearly I haven't been at the top of my game, if FWD's death is anything to go off of. But we're dwindling in numbers to the point that it's seriously worth considering
In my eyes, we're still searching for two Mafia members, so let's look at both possible realities - NS is mafia and NS is innocent - and see who becomes more prime suspects in each:
If NS is a member of the Mafia
-ClawgripFan is cleared as a host-confirmed innocent doctor
-BBQ is cleared as a mutually-confirmed Watcher
-I stand with my vigilante claim
-Cloudwalker (then Revin) was the subject of the Fanta d1 jokevote, but a theory that the n1 kill was done in retaliation was posited by Boo. NS also actually made mention of this possibility at the beginning of d2, which would imply Mafia coordination on who they might try to make a target out of. Then made no mention of Cloudwalker on d3, which I would initially read as attempting to keep suspicion away from his Mafia scumbuddy, but I'm not sure is entirely the case here. Keeping silent about a specific player could just as easily make us suspicious of them when we figure out that he's Mafia. There's also WT's post from d3:
While this is already some good deductive argument on its own, with the added hindsight of WT being alignment cop, it's possible that he knew more about Cloudwalker's innocence than he let on publicly. All of this adds up to me to say that in the NS is Mafia world, Cloudwalker feels innocent to me
-YtSSM was also not mentioned on d3, and he nor BLOF have been brought up in conversation by NS at all. This feels a little suspect alongside YtSSM being the third vote on the doctor kill d3. YtSSM quickly voted for Power Flotzo on d3, who is somebody that NS also tossed some passive suspicion towards, so that could've been coordinated to split our attention between PF and Clawgrip
-PF was named as a suspicious party on d3, but without much conviction on NS's part. PF also mentioned the manufactured feud between Coco and Revin/Cloudwalker on d2, and called both halves of this suspicious. This would be pretty much every Mafia member flashing out their rhetorical hands at once, so hopefully this isn't true. I do actually have one other weird vibe from him, though:
I was really confused on why PF would say this if he thought it was true. What good would calling out a potential innocent cop be for town? It almost sounded like he was baiting NS to get targeted by the Mafia, which wouldn't make sense to do if he was Mafia. But then I thought about the possibility of this being bait for the doctor instead. If NS and PF are both Mafia, this could've been PF attempting to get the doctor to waste night protection on a scumbuddy instead of someone who actually needed it
To me, if NS is Mafia, it's either PF or YtSSM as his partner in crime. It's hard for me to say with enough clarity which one it is, but I miiiiight be leaning more in PF's direction
If NS is an Innocent
-ClawgripFan is cleared as a host-confirmed innocent doctor
-BBQ is cleared as a mutually-confirmed Watcher
-I stand with my vigilante claim
-Cloudwalker position's feels similar to me here. Although the evidence that NS was attempting to call attention to Fanta's n1 death would no longer remain relevant, WT's statement about Cloud remains intact, as does the way that Boo was attempting to throw her under the bus and PF's vote for her on d3
-This would mean that we have our last two Mafia members: PF and YtSSM, who were attempting to manufacture a conflict between them on d3 by having YtSSM immediately jump out of the gate with a PF vote before swapping over to the Doctor. This is possible, but might've been a little risky in case the PF vote caught on. Still, it would've been an effective cover for YtSSM to carry on into the endgame without much heat on his shoulders
All of this is to say: I think we just about have our game figured out. I feel fairly confident that our two options for our second Mafia member are Power Flotzo and Yoshi the SSM. There are seven of us alive, which means that if we vote out one of them today, and they flip innocent, we have the available time to vote out the other one tomorrow (unless the Mafia has the ability to kill two players in the night somehow, which I wouldn't expect in a 12 player game (-person who said this about there being a vanilla miller)). If our first attempt ends up nailing a Mafia member, we reassess how we feel between the other vs. NS tomorrow
To this end, I'm going to vote: Power Flotzo for the more thorough feelings of sus I got up above, but I won't be too upset if the vote goes in the other direction. I imagine one of them is potentially a spent reviver role with Clawgrip back in the game, and both our doctor and alignment cop are known, so theoretically neither of them will be a critical innocent role to lose if we're wrong
Even with all that I've said, @Super Jack Sunshine, I need you to read the game thread, get your bearings, and participate. You will be critical in proceedings now that numbers are getting slim. I won't put a vote on you but I will beg you publicly to put thoughts out there
When you replaced, you should have received all information that your replace-ee received. If not the specific message, you should've at least gotten confirmation that you received a message from Fanta at allView attachment 67914Knuckles: "You need to remember, that I am a replacement and thus why would I receive the message. That is, if you are talking about me."
