I find it weird how now Daisy's Kingdom is being shown off now. And its in a kart racing game.

I think Mario Kart World's roster isn't that great.

Donkey Kong Bananza. Mario Kart World hasn't shown anything to convince me of its $80 price tag.

I think it might have something to do with all the marketing. A lot of it is based off of this game.

I think the reason they got rid of her is just to give us a new tutorial character. Before BIS we've had different guide characters like the Starshade bros. or Stuffwell and I think that's what their trying to go back to.

Except, Mario is the protagonist in a game called Mario and Luigi. That argument doesn't work when the game is about the protagonist. You can't take Luigi out of Luigi's Mansion or Yoshi out of Yoshi game, but you can make new villains for newer entries to spice things up. Every Mario game needs...

Still. Its nice to have a villain that's not Bowser every once in awhile, especially in Spin-offs. He's basically the only threat in the franchise and is in almost every Mario game to date, so seeing characters like Grodus or Princess Shroob definitely help the spin-offs stand out more, even if...

Is it weird that I'm more excited for this than 2 HD?

Definitely excited for this one. It reminds me a lot of One Piece with how we're sailing to different islands on a ship. The basic attacks looks like they'll be very co-op focus with both jump and hammer involving both of them instead of just one.
