It wasn't bad per say but I vastly prefer the locations being interconnected rather than segmented like levels.

World map is gone, thank goodness. Rotating partners is a bit of a shame though.

I mean obviously. Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam did that, and so did the Mario & Luigi remakes. I'm just saying, having some but not all is a huge pet peeve of mine with a few certain games (lookin at you Mario & Sonic)

It was honestly a brilliantly insidious marketing campaing. They obviously wanted ARMS to take off as their next big-name franchise like Splatoon before it, but it just fizzled out before it could make it big (be it due to lack of interest, cutting support early on Nintendo's part, or both)...

It'd probably be a better movie but if your goal is to make it as close to the source material as possible why not just make it animated

Probably because it'd be more expensive to fit him with all the neat lights n shit the Mario figure has. Think Luigi will be like, the start of wave 2 or something
