I mean Smash makes sense as an exception so it's weird that that's the one they feel the need to explain, when the times it's happened in 100% Marioverse-set games raise more confusion imo.
he specifically cited smash bros as *the* exception though. MK8 is a pretty clear example of them doing that in a major way, in a non-crossover series, and in a way that's more prominent than just a little cameo like the ones in SMRPG.
i feel like smash bros. didn't need to be explained, it's...
I love it. Wittgenstein is hanging out with Squilliam and Rawk Hawk and rooming with Caine, Waluigi and Dieter are married, Squidward has a copy of the Dark Prognosticus and Dimentio is roommates with Count Olaf.
This should be the creative freedom allowed for Miis at the system level going...

for some reason my memory was telling me that it only broke if it had to be resized to the 192px dimensions since pngs still stay pngs even though it says jpg. but...
Just don't let critic reviews influence your expectations. I really liked the movie all things considered, and I think it's absolutely insane that critics are going so hard for the throat on it.
i'm going to give two spoiler tags. the first are my general thoughts on the movie & the actual plot. the second is me screaming about a blink and you miss it reference.
