I don't think crazy world ending villains like Shadow Queen should be written off either. Them racing around with Toad and Goomba would be funny (and appeal to people who like that type of character in the series) and I don't think any further reason is needed.

I don't understand the notion that the enemy/species inclusions are worse than the babies and metals. Their designs are wholly their own, not iterative on that of another character already on the roster. That alone gives them more merit than Pink Gold Peach, Baby Daisy/Rosalina, and Tanooki...

Out of these, I'd pair Waluigi with Rosalina, Prince Haru with Spike, and Mona with Mary O. I thought about commenting earlier but I didn't quite know how to express how i felt about the way this is structured.
