Well after being in over 200 games, people get tired of him.

It's a good game, but it's limited and isn't going to hold your interest for that long.

The problem is any real big change to the series could create a huge upset in some of the fanbase. Which is sad, because Mario is getting more and more obsolete as I see it. :(
