Super Mario RPG Keshi Figure Playset 3D Scan Animation!

KeshiCorner

Goomba

This is an animation of a 3D scan I created of a miniature Super Mario RPG playset that was part of a series released in Japan by Bandai in 1996, under the name Super Mario Island (スーパーマリオアイランド). These miniature playsets were distributed in blind boxes, with each box containing one playset along with two light blue keshi gomu character figures.

This is the second of five miniature plastic playset sections that make up the complete playset. Each section depicts a different part of the game's world map. This second miniature playset depicts the map segment which contains Midas River, Tadpole Pond, Rose Way, Rose Town, and Forest Maze. Miniature rubber figures of Mario and Mallow ride on top of spinning tadpoles thanks to a system of plastic gears on the underside of the playset.

I scanned this as part of my "Keshi Corner" video game merchandise archival project. I frequently post new 3D scanned toys from Mario and other video game series on my twitter and bluesky accounts:

The 3D scans of the playset can be found here:

And the Mario and Mallow keshi figures that belong to this scene were 3D scanned separately and can be found here:
