Problems with Wii U Internet browser

Okay my Wii U Internet Browser is acting strange, it says when I play any YouTube video it says it cannot be played, I can't even listen to music, watch top ten lists. And that isn't it, some websites I visit like Polygon and IGN has text replaced with an error code, when it comes to YouTube is also has an error code saying it cannot be played, but it worked fine earlier on the browser. My console is up to date by the way. Is there a solution to this?
EDIT: I forgot to mention my console doesn't have any mods on it.

Can you access such websites on another device? If not, it’s a problem with your internet router. If so, make sure the Wii U is whitelisted on your internet router. If it doesn’t work, try waiting a day, and if it still doesn’t work, try contacting Nintendo.

I managed to fix it myself, I managed to whitelist YouTube and my favourite sites, all thanks to me knowing how routers work. Also I didn't know the problem goes from the router, thanks for your help!
