I actually wrote a story called Atari Empire a couple of years ago that focused on a parallel universe in which the infamous Video Game Crash of 1983 never happened, and Atari continued to flourish until the present day, where they form one of the four pillars of the video game console market, together with Nintendo, Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's Xbox.
