I like fashion but I agree with some of your points. I always hated ripped jeans and would never buy that, also I don't like shorts or short shirts and rarely wear them even in summer let alone in autumn/winter.
Wearing black to funerals seems mostly a social custom to represent mourning and seriousness, I don't really see that as a fashion thing and I've only been to a single funeral in my life that being my paternal grandfather's last year.
I enjoy being fashionable on a day to day basis but tend to balance it with practicality e.g. I don't wear cold clothes in cold weather, and I don't wear high heels. Except on special occasions but even then I don't wear anything highly impractical, like super high heels or dresses so tight that I cant fully and comfortably move around in them.
