I mean would PvZ 1 and 2 really work on consoles though? They involve a lot of dragging and dropping plants as well as picking up sun, coins, and then there's also stuff like Cob Cannons, Banana Launchers, Coconut Cannons, etc.
PvZ1 actually did get ported to the Nintendo DS and funnily enough, that was actually my first introduction to the PvZ franchise, but that only worked thanks to the touchscreen.
It could work on the Switch in handheld mode since the Switch has a touchscreen, but I don't think they'd release a game that only works well in handheld mode.
