It all depends on your preferences. Physical games allow you to see the game alongside your other games in your collection, as well as adding the old-school experience of inserting a cartridge into your system. Digital games, on the other hand, are much more convenient to boot, not to mention you don't have to leave your house to download it in the first place. It's also worth noting that physical games tend to fluctuate in price while digital games keep it consistent.

Whichever you choose, do know that you're not losing much either way; it's the same game no matter what. It's all up to your personal preference of how you like to boot up a game.

Physical so that you own the actual fancy ass cartridge and box. Nothing's better than that sense of ownership that comes with phyisical copies for me. Also if your system somehow breaks, your games will not go down with it if they're physical.

If you don't care about that, it's ffine. Go with digital if you like.

Digital games won't necessarily go down with it either. They're linked to your NNID, and a call to Nintendo is enough to put all your games on a new system if the first one breaks.
