Super Mario Boards

I recently watched episode 23 and 24. I thought the former was really great, with a well-handled lesson, a nice story, and catchy songs. However, the latter was quite the letdown for me. The plot felt rushed, Spike's "Dad" acted like a moocher and manipulator at the same time, which made him unlikeable, and Twilight's reason for abandoning Spike until the very end wasn't explained too well.
