i'll be honest, dude

self-depreciation like this is probably the number one thing reinforcing your perception of yourself as a failure that's trapping you in this. when you go out and loudly declare that you're a complete failure, you continue to think of yourself as a complete failure. mindset and actions are incredibly interlinked, and the only way to break free of this is to start contextualizing things as positive. it won't be easy! i know that from lots of experience. and this isn't going to be a magic fix. but if, going forward, you start to take your failures on the chin and forge ahead anyway, that is going to do a LOT for your self-perception. and when you start to view yourself in a positive light, you'll find that it really contributes to being able to accomplish more, and you'll find yourself not just meeting but blasting right through this expectations.

so good luck! because i know you can do it. but you've gotta convince YOURSELF that you can do it. it's the first step, and everything follows from there
