I always imagined it'd be something like Kingdom Hearts fighting gameplay. On a 3-dimensional plane you shuffle through the menu while you move, and you would be playing as the Pokemon rather than just picking the moves the Pokemon would do. I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain further and...
