If a thread hasn't​ been posted in in a long time and I want to talk about the subject, should I make a new thread about it or bump the old one? I'm saying this because most forums I've joined have rules against bumping and necroposting

I believe if you have something relevant to say about the topic, it's fine to bump an old thread.

dont overdo it and bump threads from like 2011 or earlier though
