1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; Whenever I do a new file, especially with DLC installed, I just smile every time it pans out to show the title.
2. Super Mario Odyssey; Nintendo nailed it. Now about actual DLC... ;)
3. Super Mario Sunshine; Don't know why so many hate on the Gamecube in general, let alone Sunshine.
4. Paper Mario; If they ever do and HD remake, I'm pouncing on it.
5. Paper Mario: The Thousand Years Door; Love the story. Miss the original formula.
6. Super Paper Mario; 2D games are pretty good too.
7. Paper Mario: Color Splash; This one was entertaining actually. Loved the paint mechanic.
8. Super Mario 64; Ah, the classics.
9. Super Mario 3D World; As much as I love non-linear, love the amount of items and Plessie as well.
10. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds; Again, classic feel.

Difficult for me to give a top ten since my interests fluctuate so often, but the NBA 2K series, the Madden NFL series, and the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games are the ones I play the most frequently.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is probably my favorite Mario game.
 
Not in order, and I'm counting some series as one game because I consider them equally good. I'm also not including multiplayer games. Except for L4D, because playing that for the first time is still one of the best experiences I ever had playing a video game.

Whenever I play a game that I really like, I mentally reserve a top 5 or top 10 spot for them, and they're pretty much set there. So it's more like a tier list. I never really wrote them out like this before so maybe I'll try to actually put them in order at some point.

I think I'm forgetting some games so I'll edit them in if I think of them.

There is so many great games that I just couldn't list, although these are probably my top ten!
 
I feel like I may have posted here before, but I have sold my soul to other vidya gam since then if I have. Also, while these are numbered they're not necessarily in order, as a game I'm currently playing of these 10 immediately becomes my favorite while I'm playing it and thus it's impossible for these numbers to be static.

1. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - I'm the local Dream Team stan, so this is likely going to sit comfortably here for the rest of eternity.
2. Ōkami - An oldie but a goodie. I've played it several times over now and I love it just as much every time. It's always a joy to play and witness.
3. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon - Would you believe I triple medaled this?
4. New Danganronpa V3: Everyone's New Semester of Killing - A recent one to have gotten on my list. I've been a fan of visual novels for a while (see the Ace Attorney and Zero Escape games) but I think this one is my favorite. It's hooked me. I'm in this bad, man.
5. Ace Attorney Investigations 2 - I cry for Sebastian Debeste every year.
6. Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time - I miss this game and I experience nostalgia for it every time I think about the PS3 line-up. I love the rest of the Ratchet & Clank series, this one just happens to be my favorite.
7. Super Mario Odyssey - Fucking amazing game, I'm so glad it exists.
8. Super Mario Galaxy - I like to come back to this one every once in a while. The gravity shenanigans make it a fun one to just play around in.
9. Final Fantasy VII - Cloud Strife is my waifu and no one can convince me otherwise.
10. Portal 2 - This game is an absolute need-to-play if you're into puzzle games in any fashion.

There are so many great games I'm leaving off this list! I just had to pick the ones I keep coming back to over and over, but trust me, there's plenty more. Anything from the Ace Attorney series and Zero Escape as well are my love and joy, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective gives me its own brand of nostalgia in the form of what got me into writing on Tumblr (for better or for worse)...
