You're actually newer than me by quite a few months, which is weird since I considered you to have joined long before me. I sort of mentally group everyone based on when I assume they joined, and more often then not I turn out to be off.

Whoops, I was going by forum, not wiki. Over there, you are actually older than me by a couple of months. Wiki age is confusing.

where do i begin

well, unmariowiki started as a very uncyclopedia themed thing, back in the days of 2007. it had a lot of user influence too - some of the oldest articles are still around, and they included lots of users, cheese jokes (because cheese craze) and stuff like that. this was when the old guard of unmario was around, 3D, Plumber, and those guys. even so, it was the creation of some of the classic unmario memes as well, like the mascots of Ronald McDonald, George W. Bush, and Evil Guy (good old Evil Guy, what a guy. he was evil), and the founder of UnMario being actually Bill Cosby (hoo boy, THAT one is awkward now). also the Shroom's parody The Shrug was made, and promptly flopped over and died.

lots of people got staff positions, too. they were handed out like candy. including me, despite only contributing a little at first!

the old articles were heavily meme-reliant and such, but they still had a certain humor to them. then came the purge... which i'll talk about later

also: if anyone has any specific questions, go ahead and ask. i'll answer to the best of my ability, but it HAS been nine years since the beginning
 
I just looked at it and there's a red link on the main page

now I can see why it's unmariowiki
 
hahaha, yeah. the main page was set up as a direct parody of the mariowiki's main page

...but nobody ever got around to making all the parody articles

so that red link's just sat around for years. it has a lot of those

That makes zero sense. That would imply it would clear its orbit. Unless you mean it hasn't cleared its orbit of junk.

you know what fuck the whole "internet is one planet" thing

I like your idea better, space is huge, which makes way for more websites

you could have different systems in the Internet Galaxy, like one for wikis, one for forums, one for shopping sites, one for music, gaming, porn, art, the possibilities are endless

we should all do that for our fanon, some sort of space age

it could be like Star Wars or Star Trek or stargate or battlestar galactaca

something with star in it
