i beat the chest with isaac, which unlocked the d20

seems i misunderstood the unlocking d6 though

Alrighty, here's the lowdown of my latest run.

I set off as Azazel tonight, and I surprising do better than I thought I would. Down at Depths 2, I have Lil' Brimstone, Bum Friend, Dark Matter, Jesus Juice, Placenta, and a couple of other things. Unfortunately, I die near the boss door that holds Mom, 2 rooms away. As I let out a groan of disappointment and prepare to add yet another tally to my losing streak, some hope arises. I had the Ankh! I find myself as ??? in the room before. I'm like "oh, great, I've heard bad things about this character, I'm going to lose without getting her down to half her health."

Got no damage on the way to Mom and slammed her down to less than a quarter without taking even half a heart of damage. Unfortunately, I got cornered by too many things at once and died anyways, but it's funny that the so-called bad character allowed me to get so much more damage dealt to Mom, it's insane. Before you say "oh, you got lucky", I had a similar run with Azazel. Got Mom to a bit more than half and promptly died.

EDIT: Also, this run unlocked me Samson and Basement Boy. Neat.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for 3DS does exist, but I think I read somewhere it was Super 3DS only.

Also, The New 3DS, Wii U, and Xbox One versions were confirmed to release "in a few months", as stated by a post made 2 weeks ago.

I'll keep on my toes and check once every week or so.

first lets get the facts out of the way about my april 1st post.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth IS FOR SURE coming to the new 3ds, WiiU and Xbox1 in the next few months.

there will be no content changes to the game whatsoever, it will be released as it did on pc, uncensored, as it should be.

- there will be no Scientology items added… the depth of that joke went way over far too many of your heads. FOR SHAME!

- the game will not be released for the old 3ds, only the new 3ds will run it, we worked on it for over a year and it looked/played horribly. it will only come out for the NEW 3ds system, WiiU and Xbox1.

- we dont have a hard date yet but it will be soonish.

so today i set out as samson to attempt to get to the chest
the first item i get is the ludovico technique, and i know it's gonna be a good run
later on i get the compass, spelunker helmet, satanic bible, spoon bender (which is awesome with ludo, at least in my experiences), and a bunch more good items
my luck was insane on this run, i ended up getting like 4 health up pills and 3 pretty flies
so i finally got to the chest and beat ??? without taking any damage

i tried to do some runs as ??? to attempt to unlock the d6 and i never even managed to get to mom

edit: just had a run with dead onion + lost contact + holy mantle so i unlocked the d6 AND beat ??? again lol

thoughts -

7 - Great track.
8 - Dead Eye looks like a good upgrade but Continuum looks hilariously useless and gimmicky. Attach damage/tears to it and then it won't be worthless.
9 - Doesn't look like too much trouble.
10 - whatever. It's too vague to have me interested.
11 - Buttons are actually in the code for Rebirth right now. I thought they went unused because they were too random but it was actually because they ran out of time. Here's how the random buttons work.
ALSO BRIMSTONE GRIMACES IN THE BASEMENT WHAT. What is this, the horrible part of the modding community?
