  • So in Paper Mario world, is having washed out pasty colors the equivalent of a sexy suntan? Please tell me the modern Paper Mario games have sun tanning Toads be all blanched as a visual gag.

given that being completely white = death
i have a feeling that is not the case

I mean getting tanned too much is very bad for your skin and carries a risk of skin cancer.
If I let that sink in, will it try to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula?

No, it just wants normal food like normal customers. Treat sinks with respect; one DID claim a penny AND dislodge Mr. Krab's arm.

When I'm in Home Depot in the plumbing section, I sometimes blurt out. "Gotta Es-cutch-'em All". I have to learn to say it, not spray it.

    Let that sink in.

    Get it!?!?
    "Escutcheon" sounds like "catch em"....

Does no one know that sinks have an escutcheon
"personality" and "charm" are such grating buzzwords

I think my main problem with those words is that people who use them to define things are those types to use language that everyone agrees with them

Together with the word "soul", whenever those words are used to describe a particular thing, the people who used them are strongly obligated to elaborate about why a game has them.

    Thank you for reading.

Yeah, basically, it's what a "loaded word" is. It IS designed to preach to a choir. If you actually ask them to define personality and actually back up their claims with concrete examples, they usually fail or it just boils down to "preference" which they can't explain more.
What if Nintendo relinquished their rights of the current Yoshi design to the developers behind Era's Adventures 3D and then started using the older Yoshi design in every future game.
What kind of colors do you associate with May anyway. I made January ice blue, February pink, March green, April a combination of cyan/pink/yellow.... I'm stuck at May

The only ones I'd actually give out colors are:
    February - Pink (Valentine's day)
March - Red (the 10th day, obviously)
April - Blue/cyan (waters in the Songkran)
October - Orange and black (Halloween)
    December - Gold (NY'sE)

The rest are like, nothing really much to stand out as they mostly consist of religious holidays. I considered giving pastel colors for January though as it's the month for Children's day but given I'm beyond that age I don't think it'd really fit now. The weather where I live is rather unstable and indifferent enough that colors based on that aren't an option.

Personally for May I use like a lime green or a peridot green as opposed to a darker green for March

So I hear you're a pretty good plumber, and I have two questions for you:

One, what is the average speed of a sparrow carrying a coconut through a garbage disposal leading to a sink that smells of Wario, and two how did it survive the toilet grenade I threw down there?

where did this quote come from
    LeftyGreenMario
    LeftyGreenMario
I mean the sparrow is just sitting on a coconut on top of a garbage disposal since coconuts don't fit so zero?

The sparrow survived the grenade because obviously the coconut blocked it.
    You can't say I didn't warn you

    "Mama mia" or "mamma mia"??

"mama mia", for me. looks more aesthetically pleasing. also we don't spell mama luigi "mamma luigi"
Who would be kicked out of the Oscars sooner, Waluigi slapping Wario or Wario slapping himself

I feel like everyone would just kind of look at Wario weird if he slapped himself, so I'll say Waluigi.

I don't think either of them would be nominated for awards, so it would be dependent on which slap happened first.
Unlike some people, when I see tabs getting so scrunched at the top, I just feel very, very compelled to close a few.

I close tabs as soon as I think I'm done with them, though sometimes I close a tab without thinking, and five seconds later I try to switch back to that tab and realised I closed it.

Hope you know how to revisit that! I accidentally closed tabs before and a right click -> reopen closed tab is handy.

Don't worry, I do know. I prefer to use Ctrl+Shift+T to re-open tabs.
I hope I'm not alone that I find solace in the forum when so much of the internet otherwise makes me upset or grouchy just interacting there. It almost feels like an escape from the rest of the world.

It's definitely not just you. I've been limiting my Twitter use a lot lately because it feels like all I see there is the atrocities of the world, which I really don't want to constantly see when I'm dealing with my own debilitating mental health issues.

Also feels like everyone is grouchy or acting in bad faith.
What the hell do you people put in "American" soy milk to make it taste so thick and weird compared to the "Chinese" soy milk?
    Mario4Ever
    Mario4Ever
Part of the process apparently involves deactivating the enzyme(s) responsible for giving it its flavor. I think that's because it's marketed as a milk alternative, and the trend is to make alternatives as much like the original thing as possible, whenever possible.

i wish eating large amounts of soy would cure my sister's hirsutism like the morons said it would 😪

imagine eating soy being the transition protocol. no surgery. no health insurance. just eat tons of soy. life would be amazing.
There was at least one forum user who thought for years my sister and I were sock accounts of each other.

    I found this hilarious.
They tell me to "just focus" but if it were so easy why would I keep forgetting, making errors most normal people won't do, and subjecting myself to misery from those consequences.
