More Conspiracy Theories from the Nut House: Game Theory's Mario Timeline

Lumastar

Stay off this text, jerks! He has personal issues.
I guess this thread can be the official "Game Theory Covers Mario" thread.

Game Theory just released another Mario theory about a familiar fungi guy:

I know that it has been theorized before, but I kind of support the idea of Rosalina being Mario and Peach's daughter now after watching this. I hope that part 2 gives a good guess on how the adult Rosalina interacts with her parents.

Also, this may mean that Mario and Peach have already- well, you get the point.

EDIT: Part 2 is here!

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

What erked me was his pronunciation of Rosalina.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

Matpat is known of ruining people's childhoods and he's done it again.

In all honestly the theory is actually quite interesting and believable in some places.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

Eh, I didn't really believe it.

Mainly because of her mother dead and all, and Peach is alive and well. Also, the storybook drawing of her mother resembled more Rosalina than Peach, the expection being the earrings. The hair and hair colour mainly represented Rosalina, same with the hairs shape. More Rosalina than Peach.

I find that Rosalina being able to time travel is a very strong possibility.

Actually, where does Rosalina get her powers anyways?

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

I don't buy it, or any of his theories really.

He said he would explain that in part 2.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

There's also the fact that Rosalina is implicated to be waaaaaaaay older than Peach or Mario. I don't that she's related to Peach... but not her daughter... if anything Rosalina being Peach's mother is more likely. But she may be her greeeeeeeeeaaaaat grandmother or something.

It still won't cut it though. I usually never believe what he says.

To be fair most of his theories are either out of the box or for jokes. However, this one seems to have some seriousness to it.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

I'd say that the only explanation at this point until part 2 is that the Lumas granted her immortality and time travel.

Though that doesn't explain how she failed to fend off Bowser just before the beginning of Galaxy if she can travel through time.

Actually thinking about it maybe the reason she went back was so she could see her mother again and Bowser just caught her off guard?

the over analzying is what makes it interesting though

Part 2:

the time gets set back to before Rosalina's Birth at the end (the black hole thing)

:dk2:

But then its made pointless by the fact we all know its not true.

Analysis is only truly interesting if it can lead to an actually plausible result, anything else is just pointless.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

Well, Rosalina seems older than Peach. But they do have the same genetics, like it said. I'd say that they're sisters, if anything.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

So I just watched it today and, well, all I have to say is "............"

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

wait what Rosalina's mom died

how the fuck did I miss this while playing Galaxy

seriously wtf

anyways this is pretty interesting, it sounds plausible but really whether or not one wants believe it is up to the viewer themself

Well if you've never read the storybook there is a chance that you did.

Re: Game Theory Tackles Rosalina (Part 1)

I wonder how did Rosalina's mother died.

I read somewhere(I forgot where) that Rosalina was originally going to be related to Peach. Is that true? Even if the game didn't revealed it, there still the probability that they are somehow related and may happen in a later game.

Probably because it said that she'd visit every 100 years and if you don't have immortality, you die after 100 years.

True stuff.
