    I read the whole series in about a month a couple years ago. I actually almost cried at the end of the second book, and I don't know why, I think because Harry almost died to the Basilisk (I think that's what it was, I'm not sure)

    Um, I hate to break it to you guys, but I just watched the movie, I didn't read the book, I probably will in the future but it hasn't happened yet

    @Chuckles17 I can relate. I've seen all the Harry Potter movies including the one you're referring to, and I hated it when Dobby died, too. I always really liked him. He was a really good friend to Harry, too. Yeah I was a bit bummed. Plus he was really gosh darn cute too, being a tiny little house elf. He was always one of my favorite characters, although Harry himself was the #1 favorite character to me in the series.
