Golden Boots?

So I've been on my second playthrough of M&L Dream Team on Hard, and I've nearly finished it. There's only one thing that bugs me, and that's that I can't find the Gold/Golden Boots anywhere. You find the Golden Wear and Golden Hammer from Expert Challenges and Pi'ilio rewards, but the Boots are a mystery.

I've looked all over online for answers, but no one lists the location. I thought they didn't exist for a second, but everyone online says they use them. Any help?
 
you can buy them in one of the shops, but only on level 40 and higher

So they made an incomplete Golden set? That's weird.

What's the second-best pair of boots to go for, besides Expert/Birthday gear?
 
Yeah as a person who iirc did quite a bit for that section of the article, I'm very sure if Golden Boots actually existed, I or someone else would've put it down. Judging by how Hiking Boots are a thing, that's probably why Golden Boots aren't an equip; having Golden Boots too would give boots an extra piece of equipment that changed proportional to an unstable factor.

Star Boots are a good alternative if you can get it from a drop.
