I might have subconsciously remembered it when I drew that sequence, but it wasn't a deliberate reference on my part.



After a series of chaotic weeks, my boss has given me two days off, so I have an extended weekend coming up. I will use some of that to hopefully continue this project. If we're lucky, we might even be able to wrap up chapter 3. But no promises yet.

I'd like to apologize for the delay, where I said I was going to publish a new chapter last weekend. I unexpectedly came down with a bit of an overzealous illness and the last week was very unpleasant as a result. I didn't really feel capable of working on anything serious with a throat that felt like it was filled with broken glass. So that's why this happened.
