My feelings for this are a little mixed. One half of me is a little pissed off because when I was a kid, Winnie the Pooh was the Disney character watched the most (particularly the tv show), and to see that get made in live-action, I was thinking "Okay...that's it! Disney is out of ideas, they have officially run out."
But the other half of me thinks this could have potential, because for the first time they're getting an INDIE filmmaker. I haven't seen this guy's work but I've heard Listen Up Philip is pretty good. Also the concept does have potential, Christopher Robin is an adult, so that means it can go Toy Story 3 on us and have him grow out of his little buddies. So if they go with that concept or do something creative, I'm all for it.
