Pfft, I'm having more trouble with 100cc Star. I get first in everything and fend off and whatnot, even resorting to that glitch, but yet I only get two stars.

Shoot into first, then defend yourself.

Blue shell comes? Pfft, either Mushroom it or keep driving (but get hit where you won't fall off). 100cc CPUs suck especially, so you'll live if you know how to drive.

I think the requirements for 50cc are actually a lot harder, entailing a lot of different things like not falling off a lot, not getting hit a lot, and finishing the tracks in a certain amount of time. 100cc, 150cc, and Mirror Mode only require being in first place for a certain percentage of time.

I may have won the Awards tournament but I lost two tournaments at pax because of this.

I mean I guess slipping on your own Banana is roughly the same thing but having a Green Shell bounce around you for a few seconds is so much more traumatizing.
