    The phone market in the US is just outright screwed up, period.

    It's a combination of the practice to choosing carrier first before the phone, rather than the other way around, the whole "locked vs unlocked" and whitelisting (only certain phones are allowed on the network) thing, and the lack of options (especially from Chinese manufacturers) available that'll work without issues stateside.

    The recent "entity list" ordeal didn't help much with that either.

    I don't feel my age... I've always been 'mature for my age' and some of it is because situations and my own treatment of myself forced me to 'grow up' I didn't feel like a kid for a lot of my life, I didn't feel like I was allowed to, but most of the reasons were self-imposed. (I've been feeling better lately and I am going to therapy)
