It's a chat application. I use it to message/talk with friends and it serves its purpose well. I don't participate in many large servers though. I much prefer the format of forums.

2. it's literally just an instant messaging client, just the modern day version of IRC pretty much
(idk what the mariowiki discord server specifically is like though but i mean it's just instant messaging and chatrooms)
