Wow! Userpedia Awards are just about ready to kick off!

Let's see... Userpedia has a long history. Perhaps late 2006, or early 2007; the earliest version of the site was founded: User Wiki.

Master Crash and The Missing Link created it, although it was soon merged into the famous Mwuserpedia that Xzelion and Sadaharu founded. Ever since then, the site jumped from host to host.

There was one point in time that sticks out in many veteran users: the Scribblewiki era. As the name implies, Userpedia's community made a wiki over at the Scribblewiki wiki-farm. This was the golden era of Userpedia; the community thrived, a lot of fiction was made, and a lot of people were happy and proud to call themselves Userpedians. Userpedia-Scribblewiki became so popular that many are willing to debate that it gained more activity than the Super Mario Wiki itself.

However, one day... In late 2008, Scribblewiki crashed. The webmasters of Scribblewiki constantly told people that they would be back up... Something that never happened.

The wiki moved to Editthis, Referata, Wikia, and quite a few others before finding refuge at its current location, which it has been located at for about a year and a half: Adriels. Userpedia doesn't have nearly as many people as it did during the Scribblewiki era, but the community it has probably has twice the dedication of the original. Userpedia is currently reforming and improving the quality of its articles, in hopes that a new, stronger community will come and make use of the site.

That is the tale of Userpedia. This is where the awards to celebrate the site come.
