In this thread, we will discuss the fourth Mario Awards. Once again, there will be 30 Awards, and approximately 25 awards will remain from last year. However, many of the candidates will change.

It is likely that A4 and A5 will be merged, and A19 and A24 may be scrapped.

Well, A10 includes Super Show, Movies, etc., but we might consider replacing it if we can find a decent replacement.

They have been thrown around by the AC.

I don't really like A8. And really, its very likely that NSMBW will win that.

We are considering changing it. It's now A9, because we wanted DK, Yoshi, and Wario to be in sequential order, so Yoshi is now A8.

Ok. I also don't think we should scrap A19 yet. As of now, there is only one upcoming Mario game, but after E3 2010, there's probably going to be more to vote on. I find it good to vote on the most anticipated upcoming game, unless there's nothing to vote on.

I disagree. We'll reach a decision tonight. What's tougher will be finding replacements.

We have already made changes, as you can see here.

We replaced Mario Party Game with Mario Generation, merged 3D and 2D Platformers, and added Favorite Baby to replace the hole left by the marge. Multiplayer Experience may also be scrapped.

Maybe favorite multiplayer experience can be scrapped, like you said, and we can add like "favorite playable New Super Mario Bros. Wii character".

Thanks. Here is the agenda:

June 14 - Polls open, guess results!
July 14 - My birthday, polls close, sign up for scripts/presentations
August 13 - Awards (exact times not determined, should be approx. 4-10 pm Eastern)

Dates of tournaments (MKWii, possibly MKDS and Brawl) have not been determined yet. They will be decided by July 14 and will probably be played on August 12, 14 and 15. The 14th remains the most likely date, as the MKWii tournament was the day after the show last year.

Creating the polls has been really easy. Creating the custom skin and formatting them for the Wiki will take a bit more work.

This is my first year doing this so I really don't know wats going on but for best minor charactor (who should be a major) is Daisy
