Mario Awards Killing Game III: Eternal Star

Toad! Kamek! What is going on with our lovely Party? How are there still so many guests left with so little fun?! Have you two been failing as good Party hosts?

I expected more of you but clearly we aren't giving our guests enough fun

Look at them! They're doing all the Party planning themselves! Dinners, Ghost Hunts, Weddings, Netflix Specials! They must be sooooo bored! I won't have them tiring of our Party, that simply won't do! You even let Toady get married! What kind of host does that? Well, no more. I'll have to take over myse-

Wait....

...

Of course, what kind of a Party is it if the numbers dwindle? Well since I have everything prepared, now

LET'S BRING THEM ALL TOGETHER!

I'll give you both just one more chance to prove what you can do. Toad, Kamek, Toady, Toadsworth, Toadette, Lakitu! Don't fail me again. We need these people to have the best Party ever, understood?

Suddenly, the living Partygoers in both castles feel a rumbling which shakes their castles to the very foundations. Everyone, hosts, Partygoers, Polterpup, Talkatoo, Piranha Plants, and all living creatures on both maps panic as the two maps...

Are hoisted and raised up into the air, accelerating higher and higher, until the forces cause everyone in the two castles to pass out.

Then? Once the castles are floating high above the planet, in the depths of space, there is a bright light.

And the castles

merge into one castle, a combination of Peach's Castle and Bowser's Castle floating in the depths of space, adorned with a large image of what looks to be an unholy cross between the benevolent Stars and the malevolent Ztars.

Ahahaha! Perfect! Here, we shall seek the truth, the winner who can emerge victorious! Here, we shall find the

Eternal Star

With that, some strange magic awakens Toad and Kamek, throwing Lakitu and Toadette aside, trapped in the closet of the Item Shop. Toadsworth and Toady are forced - against their will - behind the Item Shop counter, ready to take their position.

Attention, Partygoers! All surviving Partygoers now move to the merge map - the Eternal Star - for the remainder of the game. All inventory items and coins will come with you, as will any items small enough to carry on your person that you currently possess. All other items, corpses, and NPCs remain behind, in their last location on the original two maps!

All Players will begin Night Four in the Foyer - the large unlabeled open region on the first floor. We will soon post room descriptions and the Item Shop offerings, and then I will open the night phase at 19:00 EDT on July 14th, which will last for the customary 48 hours.

Maps - Special Thanks to Toadette (MsRetroGeek)

Basement

Cold Storage - Held within this room is a collection of frozen products. These products ranging from frozen dairy products to meat products. Corpses will also be stored here. As in Peach's Castle, you don't want to linger too long here without proper cold protection. It seems an ice sculpture of TPG holding an ice cream cone is stored in here, too.

Dark Star Room - Within this modified version of the room from Peach's Castle is a famous giant Ztar said to grant a special type of power to the player that wields this star. Although it may interest players to see what exactly this star does it is not quite easy to obtain this star. The room is locked by a heavy steel gate, and requires a special key to open. The gate appears to be adorned with the image of a strange bear resembling the player known as ??????????????.

Armory - This area is a gold mine of weaponry. Placed against the walls there is a collection of melee weapons that any player may be able to use from maces to swords. Within the middle pathway of the room, there is a collection of armor that the players may use to equip themselves, too. Some full suits of armor - one resembling Gabriel - stand on display as well. A gate in the back of the room gives access to the Dark Star Room, with a poster of a vicious looking woman clad in black and holding a large gun on the wall next to it.

Royal Halls 1 and 2 - These are two hallways that seem to stretch forever. However, both hallways hold a way to reach different amounts of rooms. Just be careful not to stumble into anything while walking through these corridors. There are some torches hanging on the walls and some small rat bones on the floor, but these halls are fairly nondescript.

Break Room - Hidden within the Engine Room lays a mysterious door that can easily allow for a player to sneak off into the break room. Within the break room is a popcorn maker, soda machine, a various amount of arcade games, a flat-screen tv, and huge couch. There's a lot of snacks, and a picture of Smasher sits between the two vending machines contentedly.

Engine Room - Within the Engine Room is a collection of machinery that anyone could work with. This area is similar to a garage. A collection of gears, gadgets, and machine tools can be found here. There's a large engine in here, though it appears to be turned off right now what could its function be? An avant-garde sculpture of Toadgamer is made of gears in this room, too.

Costume Shop - This area has a collection of sewing machines, yarns, and fabrics that can easily allow those to create. Within the closets and racks are different assortments of clothing - almost every costume you can imagine except for costumes of other players. There are different bins that have a collection of accessories that someone may need. Hanging on the wall is a sheet with a hot dog that looks strangely like Lord Bowser.

Electric Labyrinth - Designed to be like the platforming area from Mario Galaxy. A platforming area that allows the player to enter an arena that allows a player to retrieve an object that could potentially help with surviving. However, something to keep in mind is the black hole at the bottom of this platform. Like Mario Galaxy, once you enter this platforming room one wrong step and you could get sucked into a black hole. The black hole deposits you back unto the Foyer. The walls are normally lined with electrical arcs, but they appear to be disabled right now? This room might be deadly if someone activates it...

Lava Room - Hidden behind a hidden doorway is a lava room. This room is usually an area that helps with keeping the heat going within the castle, so it's not accessible from the hallways. No matter what you may have heard, no Toads were harmed in the making of this room. A portrait in this room reminds you of Superchao. Now what could get you inside here?

Alcohol Storage - Within this room lays a collection of different amounts of alcohol. Wine, Beer, and other assortments of alcohol. If any type of alcohol is taken from the storage it is usually restocked the next night. There are also some empty barrels, for extra storage.

Basement Stairwell - This nondescript stone stairwell connects to the Stairway to Basement on the First Floor. There's a portrait of Alex95 overlooking it.

First Floor Stairwell - This stairwell leads to the first floor, and connects there in the Library at the Stairwell to the Second Floor. It's nondescript, but covered in a plush pink carpeting.

Darkened Altar - This room, tucked away behind the Alcohol Storage, has a crystal ball, some candles, and a set of tarot cards, as well as some Magikoopa wands. It also has some projectors, curtains, and smokers so you can put on a magic show. A projection of Shy Guy on Wheels looks on disapprovingly...

First Floor

Treasure Trove Room - This room is stocked full of gold and riches that belong to this castle. Its a beautiful room crafted of a fine white marble. This room can help with stocking up with coins. However, be aware of the Chain Chomp that guards this room. It seems like something is hidden underneath the Chain Chomp if only you could get rid of it.

Asteroid Raceway - This is an activity room where a collection of mechanical Yoshis can be found. Within this room, you can race friends around the vast emptiness of space dodging asteroids as you make your way to the finish line. This activity room awards fast and skilled players coins as they get to the finish line, but only one payout per night! There's also some slot machines here for other entertainment, adorned with YFJ's face.

Sea Slide Room - This room has a watery track that leads itself all the way to the Sea Slide Dock. The players will be allowed to ride along tubes as they wind through the slide and reach the docks after that they must automatically make their way towards the Shrinking Tiles Room. In the Sea Slide Room are some tubes, a few fake palm trees and sand, and a boombox. It's a very nice, relaxing tropical feel.

Shrinking Tiles Room - This room is based on the Mario Galaxy Shrinking Tiles. Linger too long, and you'll fall down into the Electric Labyrinth. The room is also filled with clocks, to emphasize the passage of time.

Library - This room is filled with all kinds of information regarding all kinds of different materials. Any book you could hope to find is in here, as are a few computers and desks. It's quiet, but nice. Two large guides to Bowser's and Peach's castles are open on the central table, next to a globe. A dummy of Raregold is sitting here to promote reading, posed with a book in a chair.

Fawful Shop - Combined with the two shops from the previous maps. This store is brimming with items that may help players, though it is not directly open to players. Within the store are Toadsworth, Toady, and Fawful. They each take turns with helping the customer.

Luma Babies Room - This room is full of Baby Lumas. Each player may own one Luma if they choose to. Behind the cuteness of this area is a locked gate. Within the door is a secret surprise for anyone who can unlock the puzzle of this door. These Lumas sure seem hungry, with how much they cry. A soothing lullaby has a hypnotic effect on those who linger in here it emenates from a sculpture of SMG2Daisy, watching over the Baby Lumas.

??? - Nothing, or nothing you can see, is tucked away behind a locked gate in the Baby Luma Room.

Stairway to Basement - This staircase leads to the basement, connecting to the Basement Stairwell.

Stairway to Second Floor - This staircase leads to the second floor, connecting to the Stairway to the First Floor up there, and to the basement, where it connects to the First Floor Stairwell.

Second Floor

Dark Passageway - This short hallway is pitch-black, completely devoid of light. It's dangerous to go in without a light.

Comet Observatory - This room resembles a small old room with an astrolabe, a telescope, some Starbits, and other materials on space. It's got a few loose boards, too. Other than this, it offers access to the Janitor's Closet and the Balcony.

Janitor's Closet - Any cleaning supplies and materials you could want can be found in this little closet. It's only big enough for one person, so wait your turn.

Balcony - The Balcony is a small, nondescript overlook which sticks out below the Roof but above the Front Entryway. See the moon in all its glory here, and look down on players coming in and out of the Castle. Look behind you, on the wall, and see that strange image of the combined Star and Ztar

Bubble Blast Room - This room has all kinds of pipes, hoses, and toilets, as well as a few sinks. There's high pressure water shooters in here which will encase you in a bubble and shoot you up through the Bubble Blast Pathway to the Sweet Sweet Bedrooms.

Boo's Room - This room is adorned with rubies, and and image of the Dark Moon on the ceiling. There appear to be vacuum cleaners, blacklights, a bucket of ice, a small tub of water, a small fireplace, and some plungers in here. The room is kept dim, but it's possible to see.

The Hall of Killing Game Hosts - This hallway is packed with portraits and items lining the walls. Portraits of Toad, Kamek, Toadette, and Lakitu, as well as a strange looking version of Bowser in gangster clothes, a strange Toad with a screen in his head, a masked swordsman, a black and white Poochy, King Boo, a cubical Boo, a blue Yoshi with sunglasses line the walls, a purple-clad Toady, a red-shelled Lakitu, Amy Rose, and a Roserade.. A golden-framed portrait of Junko Enoshima is also in here. There appear to be desks in front of many of the portraits, with different items on them, including Tide Pods, cake mix, a steam machine, chainsaws, some strange mushrooms, a vial of Lycopodium Powder, a plunger with a spike attached to it, and a bar of soap. One portrait frame hangs empty.

??? - Nothing, or nothing you can see, is hidden behind a locked door here.

Flip Switch Room - This large room has all sorts of mechanic switches, and large buttons on the floor that alternate between blue and yellow when you step on them. What happens if you flip them all? There's a lot of laser pointers on the walls, too, along with small firearms.

Toy Time Room - This is a child's playroom! There's any small toy you could want in here, you spoiled brats! There's crayons, art supplies, figurines, dolls, child-sized vehicles, and other toys. The most dangerous toy has to be that adult-sized fire-breathing Mini Mecha Bowser, though it moves under its own power!

Sweet Sweet Bedrooms - 14 Beds are provided for 14 players, along with all kinds of sweet treats. This bedroom has plush beds lined with luxurious sheets and pillows, and the nightstands have lamps and an almost limitless supply of candies and chocolate in their drawers.

Pipes Rooms - This room has a bunch of non-functional warp pipes, and many other pipes which water flows through. Flush anything down a drain, and it'll end up here.

Stairway to the First Floor - A plush pink stairwell connects to the Stairway to the Second Floor in the First Floor Library.

Exterior

Front Entryway - This is the main entryway for where players can enter the castle. Please be careful to watch your step. We wouldn't want you falling off the edge of the castle, would we? If you do happen to fall off, a magical bubble will carry you back to the Front Entryway, despoting you with enough force to leave an imprint in the ground. This whole Front Entryway is made of dirt and dead grass, so you'll leave footprints for sure. The entryway leads into the first floor Foyer.

Roof - The roof is the top of the castle, a large flat room surrounded by four towers on each corner of the castle. Be careful to watch your step, a fall from this height could kill you. The roof itself is made of a sturdy stone construction, and hosts some other attractions.

Golfing Grounds - Care for a round of golf? The golf grounds are a golf course well equipped with 18 holes. There is plentiful amount greenery that the electrical golf carts can easily travel through. These golf carts can be found at the front of the golf course - close to the Front Entryway- along with golf clubs. It seems all the flags across the course have an image of Dr. Eggman.

Starry Garden - The Starry Garden is a lush garden filled with different kinds of assortments of flowers. Make sure to enjoy the scent of the flowers below and the beautiful sight of the galactic plane and stars above. Any type of plant you might need can be found here. It also seems that there's a small flowerbed cultivated to look like Toady and Coffee, with a plaque reading "We'll extend our love to the stars above!." Two Piranha Plants stand on guard to deter anyone who would destroy this floral tribute.

Starry Entryway - This area of the castle exterior is kept unlit, to make viewing the starry night sky easier. It's hard to see anyone here, even if the Star Pieces embedded in the pathway light it up a little with their gentle glow. You'll be able to tell if someone's nearby, but if you don't have a light or sharp eyes, it'll be impossible to tell exactly who.

Star Gazebo - With every outdoor space there should be a place for those that want to look up at the stars and hang out with friends, and we have one on the roof. Outside theres an area where you can easily relax. Within this area is a set of three long lounge chairs and a table in the middle. This is an area that allows for relaxation even in the depths of a Killing Game. It seems that a fourth chair has a dummy of Stargazing sitting in it. Talkatoo was left behind, but a bird cage here contains the black and orange bird that was at Peach's before.

Starbits Arch - A beautiful architecture project on the roof that has been worked on for a while by a group of Lumas. The Starbits Arch is made up of a rainbow-like an assortment of different Starbits. It stands at 20 feet with a width of 45 feet. Perfect enough to allow it to have guests walk under the arch. I hear Starbits taste like honey candies but you probably shouldn't eat the arch.

Pool of Magma - A place where roasted marshmallows and smores can be easily made. This rooftop above-ground pool has a circumference of 20 feet. Near this pool is a protective netting that keeps guests from falling in. Although it has been rumored that this netting has not been safe for those who may overly lean into the area We take no responsibility for injuries! It seems the pool's side is adorned with pictures of Shoey.

Night Four Shop Items

Toadsworth and Toady are still unconscious....

"I say to you welcome! Welcome to the Eternal Star Item Shop! I did not get the visiting from the Partygoers in the castle of the Princess of Peach's, but now Fawful welcomes all to commerce! This night... I have clearness, the clearness which is allowing you to see the stars like the sesame seeds of a bun of burgers."

Peanut Popgun - 10 Coins - This device fires peanuts at the speed of WOW! Do not have the weeping when you are running out of three peanuts like the baby who is having the eating of all his candy before he is tasting it, though.

Walkie-Talkie - 10 Coins - Be speaking into this to talk to someone who is far in the castle. You are needing two for them to work, though, one for each Partygoer.

Monukuma Plush - 10 Coins - This plush is having the screaming! Oh, the screaming! Fawful cannot take it. I have fury! I have headache! Make the buying of them so Fawful will no longer be having to listen to them!

Attention Partygoers of the Eternal Star Castle! A body has been discovered!

Dupe Face was found dead in the Armory. He was…

Spooky (Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion)
Ultimate Ghost

You’re Spooky, the young ghost girl from the mansion at the top of the hill. Tired of waiting for brave, curious, or stupid souls to wander into your mansion, you’ve come out to New Wikisville in hopes of convincing someone to come and explore your home. In a turn of events, you're the one who’s been trapped, and now you need to put your otherworldly skills towards escaping.

If there's one thing you excel at, it's manipulation of the geometric space behind doors. Each night, you can specify one doorway between two rooms to alter with your ghostly powers. You’ll be able to specify another door on the map which your altered door will connect to. Anyone who passes through the altered door (yourself included) will step through it into the location you linked it to, rather than their intended destination. As if you weren’t already able to cause enough chaos while moving around the map, you aren’t limited to taking stairs and elevators when moving between floors. As a ghost, you can simply ascend or descend at will and phase through the floor. There are certain areas you won’t be able to enter with this ability, such as locked rooms requiring special keys, and you won’t be able to take any physical objects with you. Finally, with the special talent you possess, you can proceed to an altar and select one player to curse. Your curse will reduce their stamina and speed stats by two points each for a night. Since you only use this power when you’re desperate though, you’ll have to survive two nights before you can use this power.

As a ghost who excels in scaring people, you're exceptionally stealthy. As a child who's been shut away in an isolated house for years, though, you're neither very strong nor social.

FA: You’re scary, most definitely not cute, and it’s important that people know that. Be sure to explicitly attempt to scare someone every night.

Stats
Strength - 1
Stealth - 5
Stamina - 3
Speed - 3
Social - 2

Monokuma File
-Dupe Face's body has horrible bruises and wounds all over it, some of them which were clearly bleeding profusely.
-His face also appears to be completely blue.
-The armor in the room is a mess, knocked over all around the room. Even the statue of Gabriel, with armor on it, has toppled and is broken off its base In addition, one stand with armor and swords appears to have been knocked over.

Other Information
-The Baby Luma's have all stopped crying, and the secret door in that room is open.
-The Star Bits Arch is completely gone, dismantled.
-The Flipswitch Room is all green now.
-The three shopkeepers are all awake now, and are happily sipping on tea.

It is now Day Four! You have until 19:00 EDT on July 20th to determine who killed Dupe Face and vote against them in the Class Trial. To proceed, please make investigation requests in the thread and in the Discord server, and begin preparing your testimonies (remember, you may not quote your results directly) and working with other players to investigate this case. Voting will open in 24 hours.

Re: Mario Awards Killing Game III: Eternal Star - Day Four: Going Ghost

Here's my testimony for the night, surprisingly, I managed to get quite a lot of what I wanted to done! I woke up in the foyer at about the same time as Fun With Despair, Jetamo and Dupe Face, while Amoeba, Roller, Doomhiker and Nitwit are all still asleep. Eleven and Vruet are already awake, with the former stood by Roller and the latter appearing to be in some sort of daze. Eleven then shakes hands with the four of us who have just woken up, he appears to be coated in some substance but I couldn't say what. I then head upstairs via the staircase in the library, and head along the Hall of Killing Game Hosts to the Flip Switch room, where Hearts has already turned all of the panels yellow, which results in them turning green, and wards them with some kind of gear. I then head into the Toy Time Room to do some drawing, which takes some time, and pick up a glowing Baby Yoshi toy while I'm in there. I then head through the Sweet Sweet Bedrooms and Bubble Blast Rooms to the Dark Passageway, which I navigate using the Baby Yoshi toy. I then head into the Comet Observatory to collect some Star Bits, and, after collecting some, I am joined by Doomhiker, who asks if I am collecting them. I tell him I am and that I've collected as many as I can find in the room, and we then head back downstairs together, through the Bubble Blast Room, Boo's Room and the Hall of Killing Game Hosts. When we reach the Library, the Raregold dummy appears to be absent. As I enter the foyer, Fun With Despair arrives from the Basement Stairwell with a some bags of frozen food and heads into the library, a happy-looking Hearts and Eleven emerge from the Treasure Trove, with Eleven heading outside and Hearts heading down the Basement Stairs with me. We head into the Engine Room, where Nitwit is attempting to start the engine by banging it, and then pass through the Costume Shop and into the Break Room, where Hearts picks up a Dr. Pepper from a vending machine and I start making some tea. Once the tea is made, I head back into the Costume Shop, seeing Nitwit head to the Break Room and Hearts to the Engine Room while I am there, before heading back up the stairs to give some tea to the Shopkeepers, as Toady and Toadsworth are now awake. I then head into the Baby Luma room and give some Star Bits to a pink baby Luma, who joins me, and I notice that Chibki has befriended a purple Baby Luma and is now sleeping holding it. Coffee also passed me into the room, with a suspiciously large amount of Star Bits, and starts shouting some nonsense before feeding all of the Baby Lumas, causing them to stop crying and the gate at the back of the room to open, revealing a star. Doomhiker heads inside and falls asleep in a strange glow. I then head back upstairs, and investigate behind the paintings in the Hall of Killing Game Hosts, finding ten coins in the process, before heading back to the Toy Time Room to drop off my Baby Yoshi toy and into the Sweet Sweet Bedrooms where I fall asleep and end my night.

Ace Ice Cream Salesman...?
Re: Mario Awards Killing Game III: Eternal Star - Day Four: Going Ghost

Goodness me, I've only just arrived in this mansion, and there's already been a death. I simply cannot fathom how people could take such actions...
Although I did not know the victim, I feel a strange... connection to him. Perhaps we were friends in another life?
Oh, but I am sure you're wondering: Mr. Doe, what are you doing here? Did you not perish in Bowser's Castle? As the butler, are you not supposed to be back there, cleaning up our mess? Why do you have that ice cream?
Well, allow me to enlighten you...

I have faithfully served as the butler for the Koopa family for the past year. It was quite an enjoyable experience. That is, until this past week. Ever since the master invited those unruly guests, it has been nothing but chaos. It started with their murder of Lord Bowser himself, and since then they never ceased to cause trouble. Blowing up walls, murdering others, making spaghetti... their atrocities know no bounds. And adding to that, ever since we started planning this whole party, there had been significant staff shortages, and, well... it was all becoming rather stressful.

It all came to a head when one of those troublemakers decided to attack me with a utility knife. I myself am no slouch when it comes to self-defense, so I was able to fend him off, but not before he inflicted in me this greivous wound in my arm. I managed to escape, but that was enough. I decided then and there that I was going to leave before I lost my life. So I packed my things and snuck out of the castle without anyone noticing. After all, if someone had seen me, who knows what they would have done to me.

So there you have it. I am no longer a butler at Bowser's Castle, and I am now merely an ordinary ice cream salesman. If you would like any ice cream, please feel free to come and see me, and I will do my best to arrange something for you.
Of course, you are probably wondering what it was that made me choose my new career. After all, I could have been anything: a butler, a fireman, an Ace Detective. So why ice cream?
To answer that question, I must tell you of what happened to me last night...

I began my night, like everyone else, in the foyer. As I woke up, I noticed that Eleven was standing around, while Roller was still fast asleep and Vruet was trying to get to his feet, clearly feeling quite dazed. At the same time, Ms. Bowsette and Mr. Doomhiker were just waking up, the latter of which Eleven enthusiastically greeted with a handshake. Not willing to make pleasantries with the one who had destroyed Master Bowser's bridge (quite a heinous crime in Koopa culture), I elected to visit the library.

My purpose for going here was quite simple. I wished to do some research into new potential career paths. Before I started reading, I saw Mr. Strider pass through the room and go upstairs. I am unsure of exactly how long I spent in the library, but I am sure it was a fairly long time; my research was quite thorough. I looked at all sorts of professions... nursing, teaching, tech support, fast food, assassination, athletics, engineering... truly, a wealth of knowledge. However, I reached the end and was still disatisfied with what I had found. I decided that I needed to learn more, and there are some things you cannot learn from a book, so I promptly left the room.

I headed down into the Royal Halls, noticing Mr. Maitre, who looked rather ill, entering the Engine Room, and Ms. Bowsette heading into the Alcohol Storage. As I walked the halls, I passed into the Armoury, where I saw a rather horrific sight. Mr. Phenton, bloody, bruised and blue in the face, lying on the floor. There was also quite a mess, with a sword rack and all the armour in the room being knocked over. Even the statue erected in honor of the Mafia Boss had been broken. As a butler, my first instinct was to do something about the mess, but then I remembered that I am trying to forsake that lifestyle, so I ended up leaving the room...

Next I headed into the Engine Room. Mr. Maitre was still in here, and as I entered, he picked up a crowbar before collapsing and passing out. I would have assisted him, but unfortunately for him nursing was on the list of careers of which I would not be pursuing. One that I was interested in, however, was the job of a mechanic. And so, I took a tool and began inspecting the engine. However, regardless of what I did, I could not get that blasted machine to start working. Soon, I resorted to banging on it repeatedly, and while I was doing that, both BBQ Turtle and Ms. MAGES. passed by me and headed into the costume room.

Eventually, I found myself defeated by the engine, and decided that the mechanic's life was certainly not for me. Worn out from all that tiring work, I headed into the Break Room via the Costume Shop, passing by Ms. MAGES. again, now with her beverage of choice Doc P, heading back through the Costume Shop into the Engine Room. Once inside the break room, I took for myself a drink, and spent some time looking around the room, although BBQ Turtle was nowhere to be seen. I thought perhaps that she was hiding in the closet, but I found that there was no one inside it. It was just an ordinary closet. Now that I had rested, I continued along my journey, and headed back out through the Costume and Engine rooms back to the Royal Halls. I began to think that I would never find my new profession, and would be destined to wander the halls of these castles aimlessly, forever searching for my purpose in this life. Perhaps I was not cut out to be anything other than a butler. Perhaps I needed to go back to the castle, especially since it seemed all the partygoers had followed me here anyway.

Deep in my musings, I found myself inside the Cold Storage, where I came across something fascinating. It was an ice sculpture made in memory of a young ice cream man, who rose above his status to follow his true dreams and become the greatest rapper the world had ever known. As I looked at it, I felt inspiration within me. I did not have to continue being a butler. I could choose my own destiny. And at that moment, it felt like that young man was reaching out to me, offering to me his ice cream cone, and telling me to take it. I reached out and took hold of it, and it was in this time that I knew what my destiny was. No longer would I be John Doe the butler. Now I would change my fate. Now I would become John Doe the Ice Cream Salesman.

With that decided, I felt myself getting rather cold, so I exited the room before I froze to death. It was too late for me to start my job today, so I decided instead to make the most of the little time of unemployment I had left, and travelled around to a few select destinations. I went through the Alcohol Storage, passing Ms. Bowsette as she slept by the door, and Mr. Vruet passed out in a mess of alcohol and broken glass. I also went upstairs, visiting the Treasure Trove Room, the Asteroid Raceway, the Sea Slide Room and the Shrinking Tiles Room. To finish off my night, I went into the Baby Luma Room, noticing that the secret door had been opened and that Doomhiker was sitting inside it. With all that I had done tonight, I found myself quite worn out, and decided to get some nice rest, falling asleep to the wonderful lullaby playing in the room.

Truly, it was quite an eventful night for me. It is such a shame that Mr. Phenton had to pass away... I think we would have gotten along quite well.
In any case, that is all that I ended up doing tonight. Indeed, reaching the epiphany I came to took up quite a lot of my time, so much so that I wouldn't have been able to do anything odd while I was in the Cold Storage.
Not that I would do anything like that, of course. After all... I am just an ordinary ice cream salesman.

You more closely inspect Dupe Face's body, noticing that it's covered all over in spotty deep dark bruises. It appears he's been crushed in some places, and his head has a large fracture that has bled significantly. His face has a deep blue coloration, and his neck is particularly bruised the whole way around.

The room is a mess, with all the armor on the floor, scattered haphazardly and knocked over, and the Gabriel statue toppled and broken from its base. It's hard to tell what's mossing in this mess, but it appears a sword, a large knife, and a more normal sized knife are missing. A rack with armor and swords has also been toppled.

Examine objects in the armory for further signs of a struggle. Also, how sturdy was that statue before it fell?

Does the body's neck have any notable marks besides the bruising? Rope burn, or another indication of an object being used for strangulation?

Re: Mario Awards Killing Game III: Eternal Star - Day Four: Going Ghost

First I poisoned half the players, BBQ Turtle just absorbed it though.
I was among the first to wake and might have been last to leave the foyer so I saw what direction most people went when they left.
As I finish with the last one I leave down the Basement stairs to the engine room, unfortunately it's missing a part so I leave to the Treasure Trove Room. Hearts shows up and we search the room.
As I leave I see FWD shows up from basement, I see some other people too.

I go to the Star Gazebo to chat with the caged bird, it's description made me assume it would be a Hooded Pitouhi, as it is an orange and black bird. It is a fascinating species, as it is houses a neurotoxin in the skin and muscles. The fact the poison exists within their organs too means they have some insensitivity to it as well, which is just stunning to me. It is also practically inedible due to the toxins, leading native hunters to avoid it.
Well that was just my assumption. I talked to it a bit, and then released it.
After some searching for coins, I fell asleep on top of a pillar.

Some additions to this: You rummage through Dupe Face's pockets, and find two letters from Peach and the key to the Armory in Princess Peach's Castle.

You look through the Armory for signs of a struggle. It appears another sword rack, from which a sword is missing, has been disturbed and its items have been knocked of its shelves, but this is far from the one which was toppled. There is a tooth nearby this rack. Beyond that, there is blood arpund Dupe Face, mainly his head, and on the feet - not the base - of the Gabriel Statue. Other than that, there are no notable sogns of a struggle.

The Gabriel statue is very sturdy and very heavy. It seems to be undamaged except for having broken off from its stone base, whichh is undisturbed.

There does appear to be bruising and markings consistent with a rope-like object being used for strangulation on Dupe Face's neck.

Re: Mario Awards Killing Game III: Eternal Star - Day Four: Going Ghost

Finding another victim so soon after relocating to a new stage is unforgivable enough, but for one so young to meet his end in such a barbarous manner is particularly lamentable...I shudder at the thought that such a savage killer lurks among us. I don't yet know what mysteries await us in this castle, but it is becomingly increasing clear to me that this depraved game is beyond even the realm of the Organization; much more sinister forces are at work here.

With that being said, there is only one path forward - it's time yet again to combine our knowledge and illuminate the truth.

I awoke in the Foyer alongside everyone else. I saw many new faces I would like to become acquainted with, but the mad magician had no time to tarry till they woke. Eleven and Vruet stirred at the same time as me, but everyone else still slumbered. The other two shook hands while I made my way through the Library to the second floor. I passed through the Hall of Shady Figures and Questionable Doodads into the Flip Switch Room, where I solved the rather elementary puzzle. You'll have to do a little better than that to hide your secrets from me, mastermind! I was rewarded with a strange gear, which I resisted adding to the collection on my hat. BBQ Turtle passed through the room around this time and entered the Toy Time Room.

I passed back through the Suspicious Passage of Poor Taste and briefly checked out Boo's Room before returning to the ground floor, passing by Dave Strider on the stairs. In the Library, I was mortified to see John Doe had returned from beyond the grave to further torment me, but he was only reading a book there. I also passed Akira making his way to the stairs, as well as Dante heading into the Library after I exited.

I passed through the Foyer into the Treasure Trove Room, but its guardian was gone and whatever loot it held had already been pilfered. There was only a boombox playing some deafening racket in there. Dismayed, I nonetheless searched the room alongside Eleven and we found some coins. It's better than nothing, I suppose.

We spent quite a bit of time in there before leaving together. Doomhiker left the Library holding a torch at this time, along with BBQ Turtle. Meanwhile, Dante came up from the basement stairs and back into the Library. I found that somewhat strange - why did he enter the Library, seemingly go downstairs there, then come back up the other stairway only to return to the Library? Peculiar. Anyway, Eleven left out the front door, while Doomhiker entered the Baby Luma Room.

BBQ Turtle and I went downstairs, where she followed my path to the Engine Room. I encountered the accursed John Doe here once again, hammering away at that broken engine like a troglodyte. Perhaps the machine is some sort of future gadget? BBQ and I passed through the Costume Shop into the Break Room, where she brewed herself some tea while I completed my most important mission of the night - nay, the whole game.

At long last, I found it. My beloved Doc P! The intellectual drink of the chosen ones.

My quest complete, I followed BBQ Turtle carrying her kettle back into the Costume Shop. However, she seemed to mysteriously vanish inside. I only passed by John Doe on his way to the Break Room, while I returned to the Engine Room. I took a look at the engine there myself, but I didn't fix it - this gear just looks too good on my head after all, don't you think?

I finished off the night with a transition from science to magic in the Darkened Altar, where I drifted off to sleep.

Name guide:
Dave Strider = Mariofan
John Doe = Epic Nitwit
Akira = Coffee
Dante = Fun With Despair

You first pull out the notes, noting that they're both written on the pink stationery customary of Princess Peach.

The first note reads:

To Whomever May Find this Letter

I am unable to escape from ●●●●●●. I have retreated to the altar in the basement in the hopes of at least warning Bowser before I am taken. I attempted to contact his advisor Kamek, but I was unable to establish a connection through the crystal ball.

The castle is under ●●●●●●'s control. I fear this is the end for me. My letters to Mario have all been intercepted, I am to understand.

This is the end of hope.

He is here, and he is angry.

The second note reads:

Dear Mario,

I wanted to offer you an update on the progress of our party planning. Preparations are well underway at the castle. All of the staff is hard at work, from the Toads in the kitchen to the gardeners. Our friend ●●●●●● has been acting strangely, though. He's as cheerful as ever, but he occasionally disappears for long stretches at a time. I worry for him. As happy as he seems to be while preparing the party, it seems as though something is troubling him. I think I shall invite him to have a discussion with me, and see if perhaps I can do anything to cheer him up.

Party planning itself is progressing without even a moment's delay, but there have been some strange occurrences at the castle. We recently discovered evidence of a break-in in the castle library, and some of the castle's stars have seemingly gone missing, at least as of the last inventory. Toadsworth is, of course, ready to sound the alarm and shut the entire party down until we find out what's going on. He's suggested everything, from someone hiding in the sewers like that strange Beanish villain to ghosts in the castle. Why, he even suggested that it could be ●●●●●●! Toadsworth is under so much stress right now, with so much going on in the castle. Perhaps I should take him out for some tea tomorrow.

I think I shall do that, to try and calm his nerves.

Your's truly, Princess Peach Toadstool

Moving on to important matters, you take a close look at Dupe Face's hands. They appear to be bruised and his fingers are all splayed out, some of them hanging off from his hands at unnatural angles. There's blood from where his fingers were bent back far enough for tearing to occur. Feeling his hands, it seems that they've been crushed, based on how compressed they are and how loose some of the bones are.

When I woke Up in the Foyer, Eleven and Hearts were also getting up, while Dupe Face, Mariofan, FWD, Jetamo, BBQ Turtle, Amoeba, Doomhiker, Coffee, Chibiki Daisy, Roller, and Nitwit were all still sleeping.
Shortly after I woke up, Eleven ran up to me, shook my hand, and fucked up my night, lowering my stats and making me sick.
I proceeded to the Electric Labyrinth where I ended up failing when I was surprised by a loud crashing noise in the hallway.
After landing in the Foyer I was dazed for a bit. During this time, I saw Doomhiker, Amoeba, and Nitwit waking up.
Eleven immediately ran over to Doomhiker to do whatever garbage he did to me to him, and Nitwit[/b] left to the Library[/b].
From there I left towards Alcohol Storage. I ran into FWD and Coffee on the way, they were heading back upstairs together.
Unfortunately, Eleven's sickness kicked in right when I was preparing for my great work, and I passed out in the Alcohol Storage while collecting bottles.

Re: Mario Awards Killing Game III: Eternal Star - Day Four: Going Ghost

Here is my testimony.

I wake up in the Foyer, noticing Eleven standing around and Roller on the ground, asleep. Amoeba and Nitwit were getting up, and Vruet was getting to his feet, being dazed. Eleven immediately walked over to me and shoot my hand while introducing himself. While this happened I felt a burning sensation in my hand as my arm goes numb, making me feel sick and lowering my strength and stamina. Also while this happened I saw Nitwit take off a mask and put it in his pocket, and walk into the Library. Mariofan follows him inside shortly afterwards. I also see Vruet going down the Stairwell to the Basement, stumbling a bit. Once Eleven finished his greeting he went over to Amoeba and done the same thing. I then went down the Stairway to the basement, seeing FWD and Coffee pass me together. They went up the stairs. In the basement I went through the Royal Halls and the Engine Room, going to the Costume Shop. I searched for earplugs there for a bit and found them. I walk out to the Royal Halls and see Jetamo entering the Cold Storage and Chibiki exiting the Darkened Alter. Chibiki and I walk to the stairs as I grab a torch from the wall. We go up to the Foyer, and I notice FWD entering in from the Library and Amoeba entering into the Front Door. Chibiki then walks into the Luma Babies Room, and Amoeba and FWD pass me, going downstairs together. I head to the Library and take the stairs to the second floor, passing Nitwit who was reading. Upstairs I go through the Hall of Killing Game Hosts and Boo's Room, and I go through the Darkened Passageway using my torch. I start feeling very ill, and tired. Inside the Comet Observatory I see BBQ Turtle who is about to leave with a sack of Star Bits. I ask if there are any Star Bits left. She says she found them all, which was only a few. We head back downstairs together the way I came, and I used my torch going back. Once downstairs in the Library I notice that the Raregold dummy is missing. I step out, noticing FWD emerging from the Stairway to the Basement, and Eleven and Hearts walking out of the Treasure Trove Room, looking happy. Eleven then walks out the front Door, FWD then passes me and heads into the Library, with bags of frozen food hanging from his arms, and Hearts and BBQ Turtle walk down the Stairway to the Basement. I head into the Luma Babies Room and put in my earplugs. I see a very tired Chibiki in the room, holding a Purple Baby Luma. I watch her fall asleep with her Luma due to the lullaby. After waiting for a bit, safe from the lullaby due to my earplugs, BBQ Turtle enters the room with a small sack of Star Bits, and Coffee enters the room with hundreds of Star Bits. BBQ Turtle feeds her Star Bits to a small Pink Baby Luma, who she takes off with in her arms. Coffee yells out a monologue and uses his Star Bits to feed all of the Lumas, making them stop crying. The gate in the room opens, revealing a gigantic star inside. I step in, and drop to my knees due to my illness, and fall asleep.

You thoroughly search through the Costume Shop. No rope appears to be missing in here. A warm blanket, an outfit of Joker, an outfit of Futuba, some handfuls of fabric, a flashlight, some white yarn, a pair of earplugs, and an ice cream salesman outfit appear to be missing.

Formal wedding wear now lies discarded on the ground - a real dapper tuxedo and corsage - and there's a tea bag in the wastebin. There's also a Piranha Plant in the corner of the room, asleep right now.

You walk up and down the Royal Halls, looking for anything notable. There's a torch missing on a wall, and, near the staircase to the first floor is the impression of a body in the dirt. As a matter of fact, a lot of dirt and dust have been kicked up, now concentrated around the Costume Shop entrance. Bowsette sits in front of the door to tge Alcohol Storage.

The Flip-Switch Room looks relatively undisturbed, save for the fact that all the switches are now green.

In the Bubble Blast Room, it appears that the Bubble Shooter has been activated and used tonight, based on the water on it.

There are no signs of any overnight activity on the Golfing Grounds besides a few empty paintcans next to one of the golf carts, which is now painted to resemble Morgana's Bus.
