I don't know if you guys know about the new Pokemon app, but it allows you (with the use of GPS and Internet and your device's camera) to capture Pokemon in real life!! I caught my starter, a Bulbasaur, not too long ago and I'm hooked

One of the PokeStops I passed by was a Giant tooth. Too bad it was too far from where I was in the car.

I can't catch the fossil pokemon like Metapod and Kukuna.

The things that are stops and gyms here are lowkey ridiculous, like a park, a K-Mart, a church, and oddly my friend's house

probably because the servers have been down a lot lately due to so many people downloading and using the app at once

I can't really blame nintendo though. this is their first time doing something like this and only their second mobile app overall. it was bound to be buggy in the beginning, but it'll get better soon.

Alright so my dad got this on his tablet for me and that is why he is the greatest dad ever.

My current Pokemon are as follows:
Squirtle
Zubat
Caterpie
Weedle
Venonat
Pidgey

And there also appears to be a Nidoran Male and a Slowpoke in my backyard, but I didn't go looking because it's midnight.

the developer is fixing the problem but if a hacker manages to get in the servers before it's fixed, a lot of people are fucked
i revoked access until pokemon go gets its shit together

Found six while delivering the local papers. Love how I found that Zubat on the countryside at 13:30 instead of in the woods at 1:30.

Also there are two Pokéstops that I can literally see from my house (but can't reach from there, must go out for them).



Don't really get all those people crawling into backyards for Pokémon, you can fetch them from like 30 meters away.

tbh i think i might've missed something in the introductory tutorial because i was of the understanding you didn't have to be in the range of the pokemon but rather you had to actually have your character marker on top of it in order to enter battle. what occurred to me afterward was that i had to simply tap on a starter that was in range rather than go out walking to the location where it was.

hence now i've chosen charmander as my starter for the first time in any game ever even though i wanted squirtle
