I got the green light from Turb, so I'm going to make a thread, take ideas, and such.

CURRENT RULES
-Each match is held with 8 racers. The top 4 advance to the next round.
-There will be 32 racers. No more, no less.
-The winner receives a large amount of prize points (15 or something, it's up to Turb I guess)

So, suggest stuff.

Well, defiantly I'll be putting on 150cc. Most likely I'll be putting all items on, but that's subject to change.

The game doesn't have restrictions, but I didn't know if you planned on making any. I think doing so would even the playing field, personally. To fix that online problem, unplug and re-plug in the modem you're using.

Winner's Trophy (Wins the Tournament): 15-20 tokens
Runner-Up's Trophy (Comes in Second Place): 12-14 tokens
Bronze Trophy (Comes in Third Place): 9-11 tokens
Gold Medal (Wins a round): 3 tokens
Silver Medal (Places in 2nd in a round): 2 tokens
Bronze Medal (Places in 3rd in a round): 1 token
Badass Blue (Hit a player with a Blue Shell): 1 token
Green Master (Hit a player directly with a Green Shell): 3 tokens
Ultimate Loser (Get eliminated in the preliminaries): 2 tokens
Oh My Glob (Get hit by 2 items consecutively (includes bloopers)): 3 tokens
Dense...Not That Way (Never fall off throughout the tournament)): 4 tokens

You shouldn't get bonuses for doing things like getting a blue turtle shell or losing nor should you be rewarded for doing something like getting hit with a blooper then running into a banana

Ok, so:

Blue - Definitely should be included
Green - I'm indifferent, as I think it would give too many tokens
Red - Should not be included at all. It'd be hard to determine those anyways.

A few suggestions of things that I think are impressive enough to win point

Squishing everyone after using lightning
Finishing first after starting the last lap in last
Taking first after using a blue shell

I haven't played pretty much any online races, so I'm not sure if coins are in, but I think getting the max 10 coins in a race could be a point.

Nah that's actually pretty easy especially if you were in last

Oh, yeah. I get max 10 all the TIME. What would be impressive is avoid getting hit by items. At all.

What would be really impressive and annoying was if someone led every lap of every race for the entire tournament

I think that it'd be better to get a point if you have ten coins in all races (regarding the coin thing).

All involve places in a round. Points don't matter at all. It only matters who wins.
