Steve movesets

THE END

I am infinite, I am nothing
So we already know Steve's moveset. That's fine and all, but I found some important things missing and some that are not so important made the cut. So let's make movesets for Steve! (and Alex [and Zombie {and Enderman}])

- First off, what I call the 'Fixed Steve'

The same Steve, but with the following changes:

U-Smash: Instead of a magma block, he places a sapling and then uses a bone meal on it to create a small tree. This would launch opponents almost directly upward.

F-Tilt: Instead of being the Jab and Nair, this makes Steve fire an arrow in front of him.

Neutral-B: Materials now only give you the material they're ACTUALLY made from (so Dirt will always give you only Dirt, not Dirt, Iron, Gold, and Diamond). Redstone is the only exception, as electric and moving objects will actually give you this alongside the default material. The other exception being Battlefield and Final Destination which always give you all materials. Additionally, to avoid disadvantage on certain stages (believe it or not, a big problem for Steve), Steve mines using the pickaxe and mines soft platforms with the axe.

The second one is more complicated, I'll post it another day

Post your own ideas too! They don't necessarily need to be a viable moveset, just the moveset you like the most.

I know I'm not supposed to judge opinions or anything, but I think there's a lot of wrong thing in here.

First of all, placing a magma block is more unique since villager can plant a tree too, and it would be more ideal because first there's some trees in the minecraft stage, second imagine you're right in front of a ledge and u press up smash, would the tree just float? For utility, The magma block seems to be also winning this case because of the wideness it has and the multihit it does.

I will have to hardly disagree with f tilt, because jabs in minecraft are way more iconic than bows are, and I can't find another move for it to be replaced with. Barely any characters have projectiles in their side tilt, and I just don't think it would be fitting for steve to sacrifice his remarkably popular punches just to switch it with a bow. In fact, this one move can do awesome combos that can kill at 0 or cause a lot a damage.

I don't really have any disagreements with the original, and I personally think they've nailed every move

I included the U-Smash and F-Tilt because they better represent Minecraft as a whole; F-tilt is the same as jab so it's a wasted move.

First of all, yes, placing a magma block makes more sense in the ledge. However, trees are an iconic part of Minecraft, unlike magma blocks. The ledge issue can easily be fixed; the tree is placed on the ledge, not outside the ledge, so it always stays on ground. I know Villager can also plant trees but with the same argument how do you explain five or four characters having their neutral special be just fire (Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Charizard, idk who else) or TWENTY-TWO fighters having Counter as their down special. It's not a big deal if two fighters have a similar move.

Second, the fact that almost no f-tilt is a projectile makes it unique. Bows are an important part of Minecraft too, and just using a jab for f-tilt is wasting a move. I am not replacing the jab with the bow, the jab stays the same but the f-tilt changes.
