i guess it makes sense that this is something they'd try out with labo
the fact that its releasing next month and yet they didnt even show a trailer or any footage of the games doesnt inspire a lot of confidence though. i'm guessing its gonna be like the variety kit in that the 'games' will be fun for five minutes and then you'll never touch them again

I do wonder if Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will once again be updated to take advantage of the VR kit, since that game had a surprise update with Labo compatibility before. If they were to make a first person perspective (like Mario Kart 7), then that would be a logical inclusion.

Perhaps they might even have a Star Fox game that has VR in mind, since that series is rather experimental.

Thank you for reading.

With how big VR is getting it seems only logical for them to attempt it.

Plus with all that motion stuff they did with the wii and wii u, you could argue that was various forms of prototypes.

Playstation: Buy our VR is top quality

8th Grader: Nah it don't support Fortnite

Nintendo: Our VR is made out of cardboard is good for the earth

8th Grader: Does it support Fortnite

Nintendo: Probably it hasn't come out yet

8th Grader: I'm interested

(Bad grammar is intentional. Don't hate on me)

Ditto!

it'd be really cool if they do metroid prime trilogy hd in vr or something but knowing nintendo (and honestly just the vr market in general) they'll just-

do something like this, unfortunately

Considering that the previous attempt was a failure with the Virtual Boy, I doubt it will have success.

The Virtual Boy was by Nintendo's own definition more of a 3D gaming device than a virtual one so the follow up tot hat was the 3DS not whatever this will be.

This is more in line with continuing what they did with the wii.
