I'd rather Titania than Jagen, but Elincia would actually be able to recover :P

A horse rider would be a Fire Emblem character I'd use, I wouldn't be lying to myself. It'll be the closest thing I get to a playable horse in Smash.

Oh don't worry, Smash is really good at keeping secrets.

Mumkhar's enhanced form, Mecha Fiora, and who Cereza is being mentioned in Bayonetta's tips (though I've never played Bayonetta so I can't confirm if this is a spoiler) are all just examples of how Smash handles spoilers for its series.

There's also that Dracula can be enhanced into his reincarnation Soma Cruz

Oh well, guess we're gonna have to fetch ourselves any Jagen then.

I would have said Titania but She comes from Ike's game so she doesn't have a shot

I would have picked Cordelia myself

I was actually hoping for Lyn to be playable, what with the publicity she got in Warriors and Heroes. But she's yet another swordfighter. Truth be told, swords are the main weapon of Fire Emblem and all of the most popular characters are swordfighters, maybe except for Tiki, and so the "too many swordfighters" controversy is also a victim of circumstance. Hopefully Three Houses will buck the trend and give us a lord/most popular characters that uses something other than swords.

I will argue on that most popular characters all wield swords.

Quite a lot of very popular characters wield other weapons.

In fact in a recent popularity poll for FE Micaiah, a magic user, and Camilla, an axe user placed first and second respectively in the female category.

I mean, depending on the game, I can even think of a handful from the top of my head.

Smash typically goes for the main protagonist though, who almost always has a sword.

Which i why they better go for the secondary characters now.

And why I started mentioning Soren earlier in this thread.
