Upon returning to a very old save file in an attempt to finally 100% Sunshine, I have run into an uncomfortable problem with Delfino Plaza. Doing the math, I currently have every single non-blue coin related Shine in Delfino Plaza EXCEPT for one. I have narrowed it down to the point that it is 100% for sure either the Pachinko Machine or Polluted Lilypad secret areas...but I'm unsure which one. I haven't played this game in years and, while I remember struggling with both, I don't remember which one I actually cleared.
Is there a way to tell without completing the challenge if the challenge has been completed before? I'd hate to either try to RNG my way through the machine or make the huge trek to the lilypad one only to realize I had already done it.
