We have the thread for your favorites, but what about the special songs? The ones that take us back to when things were different, possibly simpler? The ones when you hear them and get filled with that unique feeling?
For me, the biggest is probably "Dearly Beloved" from Kingdom Hearts. The melody itself is beautiful along with the instrumentation, but it also takes me back to two places: one where young, seven year old me didn't quite understand how to play the game correctly but got a kick out of it anyway, and one where a relative I was really close to past away and I'd listen to it as therapy. Dearly Beloved reminds me to see the beauty in everything, and I'll never let go of that.
