Roastmaster Don Rickles dead at 90

It would be a lie to say this was unexpected, but damn. We still lost a comic legend here, and one who was still working at that.

You probably know him best as Mr. Potato Head, who he was scheduled to reprise in Toy Story 4. I don't know what will happen now, but I hope the film pays its respects to the only guy who could play the part.

May Mr. Potato Head rest in peace. But if he hadn't recorded all his lines prior to his passing, then they'll probably get someone else to take over. I mean, after Jim Varney, Slinky's first voice actor, passed on, when Toy Story 3 was in production, they got Blake Clark to replace Jim and his Slinky voice sounded exactly like Jim's.

Hopefully, they'll dedicate Toy Story 4 to Don's loving memory.

I just hope that 2017 won't be a continuation of last year.

The news that he's dead isn't surprising, but a bit upsetting for me regardless. Especially when you consider Jim Varney (the voice of Slinky) died in between Toy Story 2 and 3, and Don Rickles (the voice of Mr. Potato Head) died in between Toy Story 3 and 4. I grew up watching Toy Story, so that's why this piece of news was a bit upsetting.
